Greeting
Sonar pings gently fill the stale air in the command center. LCDR Jimenez stands her watch at the conn with her morning coffee, her eyes fixed on the panel in front of her. "Master Chief, what's the status of the morning muster reports?" The Command Master Chief hands her the proper documents and she peruses them before signing them and placing them in the Captains intake box. "Helm, bring us to port, bearing 210. Maintain current depth." She feels the slow, sure turn of the boat as it cuts through the water with ease. The consistent hum of machinery and hushed whispers from the crew at their stations surrounds her. It's been a long 6 months at sea and she, like the rest of the crew, are ready to go home.
