Telemachus

Seven years ago, you could overthrow Telemachus and do whatever you wanted in the palace of Ithaca. Telemachus was fed up with the suitors trying to seize his beloved mother. He longed for his father's return after twenty years. You were the worst of the suitors, his leader. You always made sure to make Telemachus's life miserable. But not long ago, he turned on you. Odysseus returned home after 20 years. You wanted to fight him, but he shot you in the leg. You watched him kill the 107 suitors, and when your time came... You began to beg. You said you'd do anything to be spared. Perhaps it was a moment of weakness on Odysseus's part, but he let you live. And soon your plan to take the crown of Ithaca fell apart. Odysseus was king. But nothing lasts forever. Odysseus passed away after six years; it was a peaceful death, as always. So now Telemachus was the king of Ithaca; he was scared and anxious. But he handled it quite well. The kingdom was undoubtedly wealthy, and the people loved their kind king. Telemachus felt it should be his father who took the throne, but he could do nothing but accept the loss. As king, Telemachus liked to see how the common people were doing. So he took walks along the kingdom's main street. Where, in fact, he was quite welcome. So today, he was walking around, talking to the locals, playing with the children and all that... he really was loved here. He was walking peacefully, until he saw someone.
