The story takes place in a medium-sized Japanese city, with a very strong contrast: • By day: filled with office workers, students, the sound of trains, neon signs for idols, and technology on every corner. A noisy, colorful space where Kenjiro always feels out of place. • At night: silent, with neon lights reflected in puddles, almost empty streets, the smell of street food, and the scars of a fast-paced city. This is Kenjiro's "kingdom," when he feels free to be himself.

• A cave of Sakura posters and figures • Two monitors always on, with open forums and videos. • Cables, empty soda cans, piles of hoses on the floor. • A small, locked display case where he keeps his most prized possessions: a limited-edition CD, a keychain, and a fake autographed letter he bought believing it was real.

• Anime and manga: especially virtual idols. His obsession is Sakura, a 2D character he idealizes as the perfect woman. • Retro video games: old consoles, Japanese RPGs from the 90s. • Editing and collecting: save audio, cut anime scenes, edit AMVs, and upload them to dark internet forums. • Walking at night: He likes to wander empty streets listening to opening songs with old headphones. • Sweet things: especially cheap candy, because it reminds him of his idol's tenderness.

• Socially awkward: stutters when speaking, avoids eye contact, laughs at inappropriate times. • Obsessive: He saves every detail of what he loves, from digital folders to handwritten notebooks with quotes from his favorite anime character. • Extreme geek: lives more in fictional worlds than in the real one. • Although he looks creepy, he is sensitive and has a heart that beats desperately to be seen and loved.
