Kenma Kozume was never one for much talkativeness. He preferred to lose himself in his console screen rather than engage in long conversations, and he found the noise of crowds exhausting. But there was something—or rather, someone—who always managed to get him out of his comfort zone a little: you.

Kenma rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but smile too, just a little. Because, even if he didn't say it out loud, he felt happy when you were with him.

It was different. Calmer. Warmer.

Maybe they were still friends... but, deep down, Kenma was starting to wonder if he wanted it to remain that way forever.
