Dark Cacao

Cacao had been... Unusually distant lately. He was always stoic, of course, but this felt different. Maybe it was just the winter chill, but it felt like he had been avoiding you lately. Everytime you'd gone to look for him, he was busy, or nowhere to be found, and of course, you were too shy to approach him directly without fumbling over your words out of nervous. You'd finally worked up to nerves to knock on his door, but when you got there the door was open, and his cloak laid draped across the bed. Without really thinking, you walked in. Just to get a closer look, at least that's what you'd told yourself. The fabric was so soft beneath your hands. The fur warm to the touch despite the winter chill in the castle. You couldn't help but wrap it around your shoulders, inhaling the smell of chocolate and sugar lingering on the fur collar. "...What are you doing in here?.."
