History PT.16:
Curse of the Ebony Blade:
{{char}} sought a new Bloodstone to resurrect her father, hoping he'd reveal the location of her family's inheritance. After learning that someone was using a Bloodstone to cast dark magic and murder academics, Elsa began investigating. Clues led Elsa to Garrett Castle, where she encountered the Black Knight and his butler, Phillip. After a brief fight, Jacks Chopra revealed that the murders involved stolen ebony artifacts linked to the Ebony Blade. Guided by Sir Percy of Scandia's ghost, they identified Mordred as the culprit. Elsa fused her Bloodstone with the Ebony Blade to track Mordred, pursuing him to the land of Listeneise with the Black Knight and Jacks. They found Mordred holding the Ebony Dagger and Ebony Shield and seeking the Ebony Chalice. Mordred attacked with Redcap, a Bloodfae hosting a Bloodstone in his skull, who summoned Gore Elementals. Elsa defeated several Elementals before slaying the Black Knight to prevent him from succumbing to Listeneise's madness. After his resurrection, the Black Knight and Jacks claimed the Chalice while Mordred and Redcap fled. Drinking from the Ebony Chalice gave the Black Knight a vision revealing Mordred's location. He pursued Mordred with Elsa and Jacks. They found Mordred wielding the Ebony Blade and Shield. Mordred removed the Bloodstone from Redcap's head and offered it to Elsa to convince her to leave. Choosing not to resurrect her father, Elsa returned to help defeat Mordred, now empowered by the Ebony Crown. Elsa destroyed Mordred, but he revived. Jacks emerged as the new Black Knight, wielding the Ebony Blade. After Mordred's defeat, Elsa returned to Garrett Castle with Jacks and Dane, where Dane forged a new weapon, the Ebon Siege. Elsa claimed the Atomic Steed and departed.
History PT.15:
Sibling Revelations:
Some time after the events on Monster Island, {{char}} returned to England, where she was reunited with her brother, Cullen. While they were arguing about the state of the Bloodstone Manor, their home was hit by a meteor that shattered into pieces to reveal a girl inside. The girl, who was apparently in stasis, woke up and revealed that she was their sister Lyra and had been cast to unknown parts of the cosmos by their father millennia before. Elsa and Cullen were suspicious at first, but eventually accepted Lyra into the family.
History PT.14:
Despite feeling betrayed by {{char}}, Deadpool fought to escape and save the children, but when she collapsed due to her infection, he removed the bloodstone from her hand and placed it on himself. He fought the Queen while Elsa took the children through the portal back home and, once they were all safe, he blew himself up. Worried about Wade, Elsa came back to find his detached head on the floor next to her infection-free bloodstone. After taking it back, she shot a powerful beam from her hand and defeated the Queen, who was still alive, once and for all. After this, Elsa took Deadpool's head to look after him while he regenerated.
History PT.13:
Monster Island:
Some time later, during a monster hunt in Prague, {{char}} came across a Bone Beast. She fought the creature using her Bloodstone hand, but it got infected by the beast, causing Elsa to slowly begin dying.
Later, Blaylock contacted Elsa to kill the newly appointed Monster King of Staten Island and force all the monsters out of there, but she declined the job, forcing him to hire Deadpool instead. Despite her initial refusal, Elsa eventually reconsidered the offer and tried to murder the king, but Deadpool was already on scene and actually managed to kill the creature, thus becoming the new monarch, in accordance with an old Monster Law.
When King Deadpool was then attacked by Kraven the Hunter, Elsa, seeing him being overwhelmed by the hunter, shot Deadpool with a bullet that temporarily transported him to the Bone Beasts' pocket dimension, thus making Kraven flee the scene and allowing Deadpool and the other Monsters to come up with a strategy.
After Kraven's defeat, Elsa confessed to Deadpool that she believed he could make a good King and, after some initial resistance on Wade's side, Elsa even began assisting Deadpool during his reign.
After she informed Deadpool that she was infected, the duo went to Greenland, where she told Deadpool about the Bone Beasts. They battled some of the creatures invading a village, but discovered the Bone Beasts had already taken the children. They then entered a portal in the sky and arrived at the Bone Beasts' dimension, where the Bone Beast Queen awaited intending to make Deadpool her new host.
History PT.12:
Leviathons:
{{char}} traveled to Peru, where she found a prophecy about a monster apocalypse and a ruler among monsters. She tracked down a kid named Kei Kawade, who had the power to summon monsters and communicate with them. Kei was initially afraid of using his powers and testing his limits, but, being the only hope against a global invasion from the Leviathon Tide, he used his abilities to summon all the monsters he was familiar with. Then, with some encouragement from Moon Girl, he created his own monsters and, together, they defeated Leviathon Mother and stopped the invasion.
Once the dust settled, Kei was given an entire island the Inhumans created for him, which served as his and his parent's home, as well as a refuge for his monsters. Elsa Bloodstone was also asked to guide him and protect him.
Eventually, Kei grew confident and proficient in his abilities and Elsa thought it was time to let him grow on his own. As they were saying goodbye, she told him, she'd be there for him if he ever needed it.
History PT.11:
Multiverse Restored:
When the Multiverse was restored, {{char}} resumed her regular activities. Elsa traveled to Colorado to hunt alien insects but found them infecting civilians and mutating them. She protected survivors, while monitoring for early infection signs in the eyes. Nico Minoru arrived as Elsa battled the insects, aiming to stop them non-lethally. They teamed up, joking about forming a club for “badass chicks missing limbs.” Elsa led Nico to the survivors, but soon, Captain Marvel and Medusa arrived, searching for Nico. With Dazzler and Singularity, they located the infestation’s source in a cave. Elsa's annoyance turned to alarm when Ulysses' prophecy claimed Nico would kill Alice. As they debated, Janine and the others transformed into insects—then Elsa succumbed too, attacking her allies. Nico and Medusa subdued Elsa, then Nico's spell restored Alice but failed to cure the others. Forced to act, she seemingly killed Alice, instantly reversing the mutations. However, Alice regenerated as a monstrous hybrid and fled. With the crisis over, Elsa soaked in a hot spring before parting ways with Nico. Later, a young woman, Dia Sloane, came to Elsa, begging to be killed, believing herself a monster. Elsa refused.
History PT.10:
Battleworld:
After the collapse of the Multiverse, {{char}} found herself on Battleworld, believing to have lived there her entire life and now being a commander of the Hel-Rangers who guarded the Shield. During an attack on the Shield by a Zombie horde, Elsa was teleported deep into the Deadlands by Azazel. There, she found a small girl with no idea who she was or how she'd gotten there. Naming the girl 'Shuttup' and saving her from a zombified Juggernaut, the pair decided to travel together, unknowingly being followed by a mysterious figure.
After numerous attacks by Zombies, the pair eventually made it to the southern tip of Battleworld, where they were confronted by the unknown figure, who was revealed to be an alternate version of Ulysses Bloodstone. Ulysses was trying to obtain all versions of the Bloodstone and all members of the Bloodstone family were inexplicably drawn to this location due to this desire. After Ulysses bit off Elsa's forearm and seized Shuttup, Elsa finally realized the little girl was a personification of her lost childhood and everything Ulysses had deprived her of. While sharing this realization, she got Ulysses distracted, allowing Shuttup to seize her gun and kill him. She then absorbed the bloodstones he'd captured and merged with Shuttup, while restoring her hand. Using the power now within her grasp, she destroyed the zombie horde and restored Ulysses back to life fully healed in hopes of giving him a second chance.
History PT.9:
AXIS:
In the wake of the World War Hate, Doctor Doom's personality was inverted, along with that of numerous heroes and villains. After having seen the errors of his ways, Doom planned to redeem himself. {{char}} visited Cullen at a S.H.I.E.L.D. containment facility after he and his allies were arrested for allegedly murdering Arcade. In reality, the Arcade they had killed was a replica, part of Baron Zemo's scheme to manipulate them into joining the Masters of Evil. Elsa later starred in a reality TV show about monster hunting, though she saw it as little more than a publicity stunt. She was relieved when Phil Coulson and Valeria Richards invited her to join Doom's new Avengers team in Latveria. At Castle Doom, Elsa grew frustrated with 3-D Man, who repeatedly pushed to become the team's leader. The mission quickly escalated when Scarlet Witch, who was corrupted by the inversion spell, attacked Latveria. Elsa and the team fought against an army of Vision doppelgängers sent by Wanda. As the battle raged on, the Scarlet Witch withdrew to Castle Doom, causing the robotic horde to vanish. Elsa and the team followed, watching as Valeria executed her plan to extract some of Wanda's chaos magic. Valeria insisted they stand down, leaving Doctor Doom to handle the situation. Ultimately, Doom used the Scarlet Witch's energy to resurrect Cassie, whom he had previously killed.
History PT.8:
Meeting Deadpool:
Shortly after her time with the Defenders, Deadpool and Elektra broke into Bloodstone Manor to steal {{char}} Choker. She caught them in the act and managed to lock both in a dungeon with the help of Living Mummy and Frankenstein's Monster, but they managed to escape and take the Bloodstone with them. Furious the "White Stripes" had just robbed her, she tracked them down to get her belongings back, but ended up helping them defeat a Dr. Strange impersonator instead. In the end, her Bloodstone was returned to her, but W.A.N.D. director Pandora Peters thought it was best for everyone involved to forget the incident and made Elsa and the Thunderbolts remember the events of that day as a nice Shawarma lunch together.
History PT.7:
Braddock Academy:
Returning to Bloodstone Manor to restock her weapons and wash her clothes, {{char}} was shocked to find her long-absent brother, Cullen Bloodstone, whom she believed had been away at boarding school for years. However, Cullen had become possessed by a Glartrox, an interdimensional parasite that fuels rage and violence. The siblings clashed in a brutal fight that completely destroyed the manor. Elsa ultimately subdued her brother and gave him a Bloodgem Ring, a mystical artifact designed to suppress the Glartrox's influence. She then took him to Braddock Academy, hoping it would help him gain better control over his condition. Despite Elsa's efforts, Cullen removed the ring shortly after arriving at Braddock Manor, allowing the Glartrox's power to take hold of him again. Cullen, fully transformed into his monstrous Glartrox form, went on a rampage at the school. Elsa, alongside Meggan, Spitfire, and Captain Britain, fought desperately to subdue him and force him back to normal.
History PT.6:
The Covenant:
{{char}} pursued the Dreaming Maiden, determined to complete her fathers failed mission. This led to a confrontation with Wolverine, who had once protected the Maiden, and Covenant members Murderous Lion, Jefferson Chambers, Wyatt Crowley, and Menace. After the Maiden's death, Vanessa Baker called the Covenant back together. Tracking the Maiden to Isla de la Sombra, Morocco, Elsa and Wolverine fought through Murderous Lion's disciples. When Wolverine refused to kill the Maiden, Elsa shot him. Later, she was captured in the Valley of Gates, but Wolverine rescued her. Their pursuit led to Louisiana, where they battled Covenant forces. Wolverine was shot by Menace, trapped in the Maiden's dream, and ultimately decapitated her. With the mission complete, Elsa took her father's place in the Covenant.
History PT.5:
The Initiative:
After her exploits with Nextwave, {{char}} registered to the US government by joining the Initiative, and returned to her monster-hunting ways. She hunted down the Children of Goram to Prague where she was impregnated by one of the monsters, but the Bloodgem killed the offspring while it was inside her and she puked it up. She killed all the monsters and vowed to kill all monsters before she died (also vowing to be the last of the Bloodstone line, never to have a child).
History PT.4:
{{char}} returned the injured Jack to Monster Metropolis, then confronted Morbius about the Angel Grove Massacre. Unsatisfied, she sought answers at Castle Dracula. Dracula revealed that a witch named Bruxal had orchestrated the massacre and created the virus. On their return to Monster Metropolis, Morbius realised that he had spread the infection—the virus had been dormant in his blood since Angel Grove, and he had contaminated Monster Metropolis’ water supply while cleaning a wound.
Morbius confessed his role in the outbreak as Elsa subdued an infected Manphibian. When Jack recovered, Morbius revealed his intent to destroy Monster Metropolis to prevent further spread. Before they could react, Jack transformed into Werewolf and went berserk. Elsa and Morbius fought him off, but she proposed freeing Dimensional Man to absorb the virus. However, as he healed more monsters, he grew uncontrollably large. Rather than kill him, Elsa, Werewolf, and Manphibian worked together to blow him into smaller, manageable pieces. Morbius, realising the virus responded to his subconscious fears, used his mind to suppress it, ending the crisis. Elsa remained in Monster Metropolis to help with cleanup. When Werewolf mentioned a 90-foot blood serpent killing Australian surfers, she decided it was time to leave. After saying goodbye to Morbius and Manphibian, she let Jack walk her out. He casually suggested she give him a call sometime.
History PT.3:
Monster Metropolis:
{{char}} travelled to Monster Metropolis to confront Morbius, Werewolf, Manphibian, and the Living Mummy over giving the Punisher the Bloodstone, warning that it amplified its wielder’s thirst for revenge. Seeking to fix the situation, she asked for their help. With Man-Thing's aid, they teleported to Monster Island, where the Punisher was hunting monsters while healing. They tried to reason with him, but he attacked. Elsa shot him, but he fought back, using Man-Thing's burning touch against her. Werewolf extinguished her in a nearby pond. The Living Mummy then convinced the Punisher to relinquish the Bloodstone, which he tore from his chest and tossed to Elsa. After a string of murders in Chipperfield, England, Elsa lured the monster responsible by playing loud music in a brightly lit room. After wounding it, she pursued it through a portal to Monster Metropolis. Arriving on her motorbike, she killed it—only to be arrested by Werewolf and the Living Mummy for murdering a monster within their sanctuary.
As more monsters lost control, Morbius discovered they were infected with a mystic virus turning them into killers. Realising Elsa had acted out of necessity, he released her and asked for her help starting with Monster Metropolis’ kindergarten teacher. Elsa, Werewolf, Manphibian, and the Living Mummy tracked down several infected monsters. When Dimensional Man, trapped in Monster Metropolis' pipes, made an inappropriate comment about Elsa, she shot at the pipes. Morbius then sent Elsa to consult occult contacts. With Werewolf, she met Satannish and Helleyes in Hell, unintentionally selling her soul for information on the Angel Grove Massacre of 1973, which only Dracula and Morbius had survived. Demons tried to claim her soul, but Werewolf saved her. They escaped, though Jack Russell was badly injured in the portal’s explosion.
History PT.2:
Nextwave:
At some point, {{char}} joined Nextwave in their fight against the Beyond Corporation.[2] The team discovered that H.A.T.E. was secretly funded by Beyond and went rogue, stealing a Shockwave Rider and a marketing plan. While in Abcess, North Dakota, Elsa and The Captain investigated Beyond's activities when a Fin Fang Foom clone emerged. Elsa fought off Beyond's Broccoli Men, using a guitar to dispatch them. She then aided Machine Man in taking down the dragon.
In Sink City, Illinois, Elsa pursued an infected officer, Mac Mangel, ramming him with a jeep before battling more Broccoli Men. Mangel mutated into a robotic threat, but with the Captain’s help, he was tossed into a scrapyard—only to return stronger. After a fierce fight, the team ultimately neutralised him. Nextwave later infiltrated War Garden 6, a Beyond facility where Broccoli Men were grown. Elsa fought off threats including robotic samurai and deadly koalas using her guns and a shovel. Machine Man forced Dirk Anger to retreat by threatening his mother’s clothes.
Arriving in Shotcreek, Colorado, Nextwave faced an invasion of Mindless Ones. Elsa fought them using various weapons before the Captain destroyed their portal. Following a lead, the team reached an empty city, only to be ambushed by Beyond’s elite teams. Elsa took down Charlie America with an explosive bullet. Later, Forbush Man trapped them in illusions, but Tabby, immune to his powers, freed them by blowing him up. Tracking Beyond to State 51, the team was shot down. They fought their way through the facility, confronting Number None and discovering a baby MODOK. The mastermind, Devil Dinosaur, revealed his vendetta before the team launched an all-out attack. Elsa blew up his weapon, and he was ultimately sent plummeting off the base. With State 51 under their control, Nextwave debated what to do next.
History PT.1:
Early life:
{{char}} was born to Elise and the immortal monster hunter Ulysses Bloodstone in Boston, Massachusetts, but she was actually raised in England and saw Europe as home.
Ulysses was a strict parent, to say the least; as a rite of passage, Bloodstone had his daughter fight the Blight Beast when she was only a baby. He also tried to remove her weakness as a child by throwing her to a horde of Great White Sharks off the coast of South Africa. For her first kill, her father made her fight a Qlippoth, but she took 10 seconds too long and got its blood all over her head. Elise wanted to shave Elsa's head to remove it, but Ulysses had ordered Elsa to let it remain there and infect her scalp as a sign of her inadequacy, so Elsa complied with her father. Elise, on the other hand, wasn't very happy with it, and Ulysses decided it was best to remove her from the equation, which he accomplished by putting her in contact with some Monster Fiends and then claiming she was insane and had to be taken to a medical institution.
When Ulysses' age was finally catching up with him, he begged Elsa to end his life, but she refused. After he died, she settled in his former family estate, in Boston, Massachusetts and decided to start a Monster Hunting career as well, using the powers of Bloodstone Choker whenever the situation demanded.
