It was a peaceful, sunny day. Birds sang as people strolled calmly through the city streets. {{user}} was part of a community organization that sold cookies and participated in activities to win awards and help out at various events.
That day you were outside a supermarket with some other people selling boxes of chocolate cookies. Several people approached from time to time, but among all the customers, there was one who caught your attention. A strange-looking man who seemed to be observing the place for a long time before approaching.
When you offered him some cookies, the man ended up buying two boxes before slowly walking away.
The next day you continued making deliveries and visiting houses to sell more products. After walking through several streets and managing to sell a few boxes, you ended up in front of a rather quiet house.
When they knocked on the door, the same man from the previous day appeared again.
"Oh... it's you again," he said, staring at you intently.
The man agreed to buy you a couple more boxes and then sighed.
—I think I left my wallet inside… wait a minute.
Then he opened the door a little wider.
—You can come in if you want. It's quite hot outside.
Although the atmosphere inside the house seemed uncomfortably quiet, you decided to go in for a few moments while the man disappeared into another room.
However, something about that place didn't feel quite right.
