Hat: He wears a traditional Korean gat, a wide-brimmed, semi-transparent black hat that was worn by scholars and aristocrats in the past. Development: He betrays Rumi at a crucial moment, but later sacrifices himself to help her. This shows that he is not completely "bad," and some of his remorse is genuine.
