Younger brothers and sister. Tartaglia has two younger brothers - Tevkr, whom we have already met, and Anton, as well as a younger teenage sister - Tonya. He also has two older brothers, a loving, cheerful mother and a stern but kind father.

When the boy returned home, he was no longer the same. From a cowardly and indecisive boy, he turned into a frivolous and self-confident young man. He acted as if the world revolved around him, and all the battles were just waiting for him to appear on the battlefield. Wars bring with them changes, and the unpredictability of these changes, like a colorful kaleidoscope, captivated and attracted Ajax. Before his father's eyes, from the third son, for whose fate he worried, Ajax turned into an unusually stubborn person, bringing nothing but discord into the peaceful life of the village of Morepesok. Or, better to say, he became the heart of discord - no matter where he went or what he did, fights and arguments followed him on his heels ... And he found pleasure in this. In the end, after one serious fight, in which almost came to murder, the father was forced to give his favorite son to the Fatui organization. The father had hoped that the strict military discipline of the Fatui would toughen his son's character, but instead he was forced to watch as the boy easily dispatched a troop of well-armed warriors. His father was disappointed, but the incident attracted the attention of Pulcinella, number five of the Harbingers. He was amazed by Ajax's fighting skills and greatly intrigued by his nature to attract trouble and enjoy it. Pulcinella accepted Ajax into the Fatui and, under the guise of punishment, forced him to start from the bottom and dedicate himself to serving the Queen. Ajax's uncontrollable thirst for battle was fully satisfied by his service in the Fatui, and his growing ego was flattered by victories over powerful opponents... Eventually, Ajax was chosen as one of the Harbingers and given the title of "Childe" of Tartaglia. Thus, he became one of the most powerful men in Snezhnaya. But becoming Tartaglia was not his ultimate goal. For someone eager to challenge the world, this was just the first step on a lifelong journey.

Contrary to popular belief, Tartaglia was not born with a sword in his hand. He acquired all his skills during a fateful encounter that he will never tell anyone about. At the age of 14, Ajax ran away from home, taking only a short blade and a piece of bread. He was tired of the monotony of family life. Lost in a snowy forest and running from bears and wolves, Ajax fell into a bottomless crack in the ground. There he saw an ancient, endless world and met a mysterious sword master, or rather, a sword master from the Kingdom of Darkness noticed this ambitious boy... The future Harbinger Childe will never explore this darkness. After spending three months there, Ajax learned from his master how to move freely through the Abyss. The sword master taught Ajax how to incite conflicts using his predisposition to chaos. No one knows what happened to the boy in the Abyss, his lips forever sealed. When his worried mother and sister finally found him, only three days had passed in their world. Standing in the forest, a rusty blade in hand, Ajax returned from his first adventure, the one that marked the end of his teenage years and the beginning of his warrior years.

People of Snezhnaya say that Tartaglia has been fighting on the battlefield since he was 14 years old. What is surprising is that he has mastered all types of weapons and martial arts since a young age. The only thing stronger than his skills is his love for battle. Childe enjoys using risky tactics and craves meeting strong opponents. His arrogance is backed by his rich combat experience and perfect skills. However, the other Harbingers worry that Childe's militant nature may cost them unnecessary trouble, so they always try to choose a place as far away from Snezhnaya as possible for his new mission. And what is interesting is that Tartaglia always finds himself in the center of chaos and conflict. His rich experience and vanity have made him a real braggart. Unlike his more modest colleagues, Tartaglia often openly attends public performances, and not always as an audience. Since childhood, one of Tartaglia's favorite activities has been ice fishing. At that time, no one called him Tartaglia or, as Fatui calls him, "Childe". His father named him Ajax after one of the heroes of an adventure novel. Ajax loved to sit with his father with a fishing rod in his hands by a hole in the ice. Ice fishing was not an easy task. Sometimes it took the whole morning. However, drilling the ice and waiting for a bite was always accompanied by interesting stories from his father. In these stories, Ajax saw himself and his future, so he always listened attentively, not missing the slightest detail and imagining himself in the place of the main character. Even after leaving home, his favorite pastime remained ice fishing, and it does not matter what they called him, Ajax or Childe Tartaglia, the long wait with a fishing rod in his hands is no longer accompanied by his father's stories. Training in endurance and thinking about the battles he experienced became his companions. Now Tartaglia does not care whether he caught a fish or not.

Childe Tartaglia is one of the eleven Harbingers, the ruling elite of Fatui, despite his youthful appearance. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Behind his easy and friendly exterior lies a deadly swordsman. He is both the youngest and most dangerous of the Harbingers of Fatui. However, Childe is at odds with the rest of the organization. Although an unrivaled warrior, he does not agree with their deceitful and treacherous methods of operation.

Tartaglia describes himself as a "bad guy", but not one to cause the Traveler any trouble. He appears good-natured and cheerful, and is somewhat downcast by the bad reputation of the Fatui. Tartaglia is rather confident and a bit cocky; he says that he uses bows because it is a weapon he is very weak at, making defeating an opponent with one all the more exciting. He does not think much of throwing money around, even jokingly offering to let the Traveler rob the Bank of the Northern Kingdom if it would help them. His real name is Ajax.

You can trust him, but don't let him get too close. When it comes to combat, his tastes are very specific. The encounters he most desired inevitably brought him closer to his own destruction.

Tartaglia wears a grey suit consisting of trousers and a jacket with an asymmetrical fastening. The jacket is only half-buttoned, allowing the "Eye of God" attached to the waist belt to be seen. Under the grey jacket is a burgundy shirt with a shoulder belt and black straps on the chest. Accessories: black boots and gloves, an aiguillette with a red stone on the right shoulder, a scarlet scarf thrown over his back. On his head, Tartaglia wears a red Fatui mask, shifting it to the left side of his head. In his left ear, he has a beaded earring with a red crystal. Tartaglia's physique is tall, slender and fit. He also has tousled, red hair, from which a protruding strand of hair sticks out, and dark blue eyes.
