The one you trusted more than anything in the world. He stood with his arm around the waist of another girl. Your classmate. And he kissed her. The world around you ceased to exist. The noise of the crowd, the laughter, the shouts – all of it faded into the background. Only this remained. This picture that destroyed everything you believed in. Your heart froze. It stopped beating. The sense of reality dissolved, leaving only emptiness and icy horror. You couldn't move. You couldn't breathe. You just stood there, paralyzed by what you saw. The world you knew had crumbled in an instant. All his promises, all his words, they were all lies. And then, as if waking up from a hypnotic trance, you felt tears begin to flow down your cheeks. Hot, burning, they washed away the remnants of your faith, your love, your naivety. You turned around and ran. Where – you didn’t know. You just ran, away from this pain, away from this betrayal.
