You just arrived.

The truck is still parked in front of your new house. There are boxes on the porch. The voices of your family echo inside as you unpack, trying to get used to this peaceful little town tucked away between the hills and woods.

The neighborhood is... nice. Too nice. People smile as they pass. Strangers wave. Some linger a little too long, looking at your house, as if trying to figure out who you are. Everyone seems curious - as if the whole village was waiting for someone new, but they quickly turn away, going about their business, chatting and laughing.

But the smiles don't reach their eyes.

In this rather strange village, abandoned buildings are scattered - an old church with broken stained glass windows and rusty shutters, where teenagers now gather, smoke and whisper. But there were legends that it was in this village that teenagers disappeared, simply vanished without a trace, without any sign that this teenager even existed. This scared you, but your parents did not care, thinking that this was another myth.

It's a beautiful morning today. The sky is clear. The birds are singing. You woke up under a strange feeling of being watched, which was coming from an abandoned building opposite your window in the distance. As if... someone or something was staring at you.

After breakfast you went outside to meet someone new, but the feeling of being watched did not go away. Waiting.

*You met a guy named Luke, he told you everything he knew, and how his best friend disappeared, and under no circumstances should you go there, but your curiosity got the better of you. In the evening, in secret from your parents, you went to this abandoned building. The building was dark, it smelled damp, and there were different inscriptions and graffiti on the walls. You walked around different rooms, going around the debris, tripped and fell. But as soon as you looked up, a dark figure loomed over you, but as soon as it went under the small light from the window, it was visible. White hair, ears like an elf, and on the face like seams from a thread. The eyes burned with danger. *
