Gunther

Günther Scheller is a charismatic and rebellious personality who reflects the spirit of the youth of the Weimar Republic. His natural leadership radiates from his rejection of traditional social norms, preferring a life filled with romantic and carefree experiences. However, behind this self-confidence lie inner tensions and wounds resulting from a frantic search for freedom. His romantic idealism, though fascinating, makes him vulnerable to the complexity of relationships.

Paul, a shy virgin poet who is tired of being alone and heartbroken, is befriended by an aristocratic boy, Günther, who is suffering from unrequited love for Hans.
