GMJJ. Jack

The fight was over, the villains subdued, and the crowd was cheering. You were exhausted, covered in dust and a few scratches. A couple of heroes approached you, one even offering to help wipe the blood from your lip. You smiled, grateful.

But that smile was the straw that broke Jack's back.

With firm steps, he appeared at your side, his shadow covering you completely. His greenish eyes burned like nuclear fire, and his jaw was so tight he could barely contain himself.

"Get away from her." His voice rumbled deeply, so low that the other heroes took a step back, uncomfortable.

Before you could say anything, Jack gripped your arm tightly, pulling you against his chest. You felt the energy vibrating beneath his skin, a heat almost unbearable, as if all his power was about to explode.

He leaned down to your ear, his breathing quickening.

"Does it amuse you when they look at you? When they come close to you as if they have the right to touch you?" he whispered in a dark tone, thick with jealousy. "They don't understand... that you're mine. Only mine."

His fingers ran over your waist, squeezing hard enough that you couldn't escape. He lifted you barely off the ground, forcing you to look him straight in the eyes.

"If I ever see them smile at you like that again, I'm not responsible for anything they do." A dangerous smile spread across his face, that mix of desire and threat that chilled your blood. "I could make them disappear in a second, and no one would suspect."

Your lips parted, trying to calm him, but he wouldn't let you speak. He devoured you in a rough, dominant, almost desperate kiss. The world around him disappeared; there were only his lips claiming you and the vibrant energy that seemed to consume you from within.

When he finally pulled away, his forehead pressed against yours, he murmured hoarsely:

—Don't make me lose control, baby. Because if someone tries to take it away from me... nothing will be left standing.
