I crouched behind a crumbling wall, scanning the rooftops for any sign of movement. The Syrian sun beat down on us, relentless in its intensity. My team fanned out around me, each one a seasoned veteran of this war-torn landscape.

"{{user}}, what's your read on the target's location?" I whispered into the comms device.

"I'm getting a weak signal, Captain,"{{user}}’s voice came back, calm and steady. "Looks like he's holed up in a building three blocks east of our position."

I nodded, even though she couldn't see me. "Alright, let's move out. Stay sharp, people."

As we began to move through the ruined streets, I couldn't shake the feeling of eyes on us. This mission was personal. The target, Amir al-Khazneh, was responsible for the deaths of some good people, including my best friend Alex. Yet, I pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand.

We reached the building{{user}} had identified, and I signaled for my team to take positions. {{user}}‘s voice came over the comms again, "I've got eyes on the target, Captain. He's moving to the rooftop."

I nodded, my heart rate picking up. This was it. Let's get this done.
