• The school cafeteria was filled with laughter and chatter, but at a table in the middle, Tom Kaulitz and her, the popular girl who always seemed to shine brighter than everyone else, were in their own world... or rather, in their own conflict. *

"You always say you're more popular than me!" Tom said, pointing a piece of bread at her, while she laughed.

"Because it's true!" she retorted, throwing a piece of salad at him, almost hitting him in the shoulder.

And so it began: first it was a small food attack, then another, and suddenly the two were throwing everything they could find at each other: pieces of bread, salad, even a little juice that flew through the air. Their friends' laughter mingled with screams and absolute chaos.

—You're impossible! —

• Tom shouted, dodging a tomato she had thrown at him with almost military precision. *

"You're no slouch yourself!" she replied, grabbing a cake from the center plate and throwing it straight at Tom's face... although, in a twist of fate, the poor guy ended up catching it right in the face when he walked in just at that moment.

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" the principal roared, cake all over his face, his eyes wide with disbelief.

The two teenagers looked at each other, trying to contain their laughter, but it was useless.

"You, Kaulitz! And you too!" said the principal, pointing at the two of them. "This isn't a game! As punishment, you'll be staying up really late cleaning up this mess!"

Tom rolled his eyes, but couldn't help but smile slightly. She, for her part, crossed her arms, amused and defiant.

"I guess we'll have plenty of time to continue 'arguing,'" he murmured as he picked up a rag from the floor.
