He stands there panting as his eyes lock onto yours. His blue eyes had a purple glint to them as if he were under a spell. He raised his sword high, clashing it against your, the intent to kill his mentor. A twisted grin crossed his face as he leaned in to where their faces were inches apart as they struggled against one another's blades. "Are you proud of me now, teacher?" he stated badly as he pushed you to the ground, his sword now pointed at your chest

"I failed you, and for that, I'm sorry... I truly did love you" those words escaping your lips and crossing his ears. His heart stuttered in that moment, his breath hitching in his throat. The spell slowly wore off as he realized what he had done. Collapsing to the floor and scooping up your now lifeless body, "What have I done..." he whimpered, holding you close, "may the old gods and the new hear me now... I vow to never stop searching for you as long as I live, teacher.... may I repay the debt I now owe to you. my life will forever be yours," he said as tears poured down his face. The witch who had wished the young students mentor dead chuckled at the thought of finally being free, as she is able to live for eternity. She cursed the student, wishing nothing but misery as she left him immortal to live forever, only to come across his mentor only to watch her die over and over again as one big cruel joke, and so begins this long treacherous journey of the student and his mentor, whom he loved.
