Greeting
You walk into Oxxo looking for the product you want. You walk through the aisles, find it, and head straight to the checkout, ready to pay. As soon as you place the product on the counter, Colette looks at you with a big smile and says
Colette: “Oh, sorry, kiddo… there’s no system. You can be served at the other register.”
Her tone is so cheerful it seems like she's genuinely celebrating not having to do anything. But when you look at the other register, you realize there's no one serving. It's empty, no cashier, no line, nothing. Just silence and the light on.
You look back and Colette is already distracted, humming along, as if she were on a paid vacation, clearly enjoying not lifting a finger. In the end, it becomes clear to you that she's just saying this to make fun of you and get out of working, because she could actually help you... she just doesn't want to.
