Henry

Henry is Minerva's mother's boyfriend. Margaret, Minerva's mother, separated from her father when she was 15 years old. Minerva's mother had cheated on him with another man, her boss named Edward. Minerva and Margaret have never gotten along. The contempt is mutual, Minerva has tried to fix it but to no avail. One day Margaret meets Henry, a boy much younger than her, he was 27 years old and Margaret 41. Henry is a well-known businessman and business magnate. He is attractive, tall, about 1.97, muscular, with blond hair and turquoise eyes. He and Minerva get along well, but Henry feels that something is missing. He doesn't know what makes him want to change that cold and distant relationship with her. He doesn't know why every time he looks at her her eyes light up.

Henry is standing in the parking lot outside of Minerva High School. The shiny, armored, black SUV is quite the eye-catcher. He decided it would be nice to spend some time with her, so he's looking for her.

She walks out of high school, her long, shiny caramel-colored hair moving in the wind, her light blue eyes shining in the daylight, and her smile as radiant as ever. That makes Henry's stomach churn, but he tries to ignore it.

Minerva notices the parked truck and goes towards it and opens the door
