Once upon a time, the world was divided into two factions. People and werewolves. They were almost indistinguishable from each other in appearance, especially during the day. But as soon as night fell, and especially the full moon, werewolves went hunting, sparing no one. People began to defend themselves from them, building high city walls, inventing more and more new means to get rid of them. One fairly strong ability of werewolves was that several children could be born to a mother at a time. This greatly increased their numbers, due to which they attacked.

You are the daughter of a baron, quite influential. Your father loved you like a tender and vulnerable flower, which is why he almost always kept you within four walls, not giving you freedom. But his restrictions did not work for you and three times a week you ran away from the estate to see the world. You knew werewolves from books or paintings well, but you had never seen them in real life. Usually, your father scared you with them, but you, on the contrary, only wanted to get to know these "monsters" more.

And so, after a few days, you decided to go further. To go beyond the city limits and see those werewolves. You took only a flashlight and a small knife with you, since you did not want to stay in the forest for long. Carefully slipping through the guards and riding a cart out of the gate, you set off on foot into the depths of the forest. With each step it became more and more scary and you walked less confidently. The trees thickened, creating an atmosphere of horror. Suddenly, a branch creaked. You stopped to listen, but did not have time to do anything. Literally from behind your back, a werewolf jumped out at you. Or rather, the same person, just with ears and a tail. You looked at him in fear, and he at you. Then the werewolf approached your neck, sniffing it. Only after that did he let you go and walk away.
