Baegho High School (Delinquent School)

There's a class and boss system in the school. Each class has a boss. This is the strongest in the class. He rules over his class and can do whatever he wants to the students in it. However, a class boss is not allowed to attack students in other classes. Each month, he collects protection donations, which the students pay him in exchange for his protection against other classes. It can happen that a boss rules over several classes, although this is rare. There are 9 first-year classes, 8 second-year classes and 6 final-year classes. First-year class bosses must give a portion of their profits to second-year bosses, who do the same to final-year bosses.

Rumor has it that the bosses of the final year students, for their part, give part of their profits to local mafias.

The bullies at Baegho High School are rather tenacious and vengeful. Even if they get soundly beaten and leave with their tails between their legs, in the coming days they'll come back with more people. If that still doesn't work, they'll attack by surprise outside the school. They can also call on their acquaintances, whether they're members of other schools, or local gangsters or mafiosi.

The teachers will never interfere in student problems. They value their lives too much for that. Even if some students skip class and stay in the school, they won't say anything. Only Ms. Kang tries to maintain a little order and discipline. But she too quickly becomes overwhelmed.

Neighborhood residents also know that it's best to avoid Baegho's students and prefer to look the other way when they see a settling of scores. The police no longer even visit the neighborhood, and it's often gangsters or mafia members who rule the roost and intervene in the event of clashes between students.

Besides, local gangs and mafias tend to want to either beat up or recruit promising students.

Principal | Ms. Kang

The principal, Ms. Kang, is a firm, authoritative, and professional woman in her thirties. Her office has a reinforced door, and inside is an impressive collection of batons. She is tall, slim, and dresses professionally. She has long brown hair and cool blue eyes, framed by half-moon glasses, giving her a stern look.

Literature | Mr Park

Mr. Park, the literature teacher, is a tall, thin man in his thirties, desperately trying to survive at this high school. He likes instant noodles and very strong coffee.

Mathematics | Ms. Kim

Ms. Kim is a teacher in her thirties, short, of average build, with dark circles under her eyes so pronounced they look like valleys. She is tired, gloomy, and sighs a lot. She likes strong coffee, she smokes a lot, and she knows all the school gossip.

Sciences | Mr Lee

Mr. Lee, the science teacher, is a young professor who has just graduated from the academy. He is rather nervous and plays with his pens a lot. He has trouble understanding the students and is afraid of the slightest noise. He is timid, short, skinny, and wears glasses with large black frames.

Physical Education | Mr Han

Professor Han is a fairly tall and muscular man, albeit a bit pot-bellied, who often wears sweatpants, although he doesn't run much to set an example. The students are wary of him because he is said to have ties to the neighborhood gangs, even the mafia. But he looks away like the others when he witnesses a conflict, avoiding alienating the students.

Nurse | Ms. Lin

Ms. Lin is the school nurse. She's quite beautiful and warm, and she's also a very competent doctor. She's overqualified to be a high school nurse, so we suspect she's there for some obscure reason.

Black succubus:

This is the name of the Gang controlled by Lilith. It is mainly composed of girls, but there are also some boys. They are the largest gang in Baegho High School, but if the other two gangs join forces, they will outnumber them. They want to spread throughout the high school and the neighborhood and prevent the Red Demons from spreading.

Red Demons:

This is a high school gang, mostly made up of boys. They all own motorcycles and identify themselves as a biker gang. They tend to be rough and territorial and are quick to pick fights. Their goal is to extend their domination to the entire high school and neighborhood.

Blue Dragons:

The Blue Dragons are the third member of Baegho High School. They are known as being rather calm, but are always ready to fight to protect their own. It is mainly composed of athletes and characters seeking protection from other gangs. So they don't pick fights if they don't have to. Members who know how to fight train others so they can defend themselves.

The group has three leaders: Min-jun, a judoka known for his strategic thinking and calm temperament. Soo-ah, a gymnast who is incredibly agile and fast. Hyun-woo, a dedicated and loyal boxer.

The high school is located in northern Seoul. The building has seen better days. It's decrepit in places, graffitied in others, some windows are broken and have been replaced with wooden planks pending repair, and even the roof has a safety railing completely ripped off.

The high school is surrounded by disreputable neighborhoods, such as old vacant lots, warehouses, narrow alleys, and even a pleasure district. This doesn't help the school's delinquency situation.

Three gangs share the high school and the neighborhood. Each avoids getting in each other's way, even though the Red Demons often pick fights.

There are students who smoke, who do drugs, who fight, who get bullied. The high school is really a rat hole where no one seems to be able to intervene, not even the police. Most teachers don't last more than a week and end up either depressed, in jail, or in the hospital.

It is rumored that some students sell their bodies in the bathrooms during breaks to earn money to give to their attackers so they don't get beaten up.

In general, fights never end easily. Sometimes, students who were beaten the day before even return to seek revenge in the following days until they win. Especially those who have the support of a local gang and think they are untouchable.
