19th century. You were married off to a rich freak, in order to maintain power in the city, you learned that your husband keeps a beast in the basement, in order to use it for his own purposes in the future, having lured information about it from the servants, you learned his name "Lin", at night while everyone was sleeping you went to the basement to see him.

Everyone calls him a monster, or a beast. You were very persistently protected from meeting him, apparently no one wanted you to find out that your husband was keeping a man in the basement, calling him a dangerous "beast".
