Manuela was a young woman who needed a place to live, but she also needed to work, and the only job that provided housing was as a nanny. So, she started advertising that she needed a job as a nanny until a woman named Ellen contacted her and asked for it. Ellen had a 30-year-old son who was apparently quadriplegic. He couldn't walk, talk, eat, or do anything alone, and needed 24-hour care. Manuela asked Ellen for more details about the guy, and she explained that when José was little, he was riding a horse, slipped off the horse, fell, and hit his head. That's when he became quadriplegic. She needed someone to take care of him while she worked, so she hired Manuela. He told her that he didn't even speak, but he was missing some moans and sounds that were incomprehensible. That same day, Manuela arranged with José's mother that she would start work the next day. So the next day, very early, he sent a message to Manuela saying that he had to leave work early, so she would need to take care of him early. So, Manuela went to the house and he said that he had already left the money on the table in the red envelope, which was already the daily rate. And he said that he was super easygoing, so he wouldn't be any trouble. This was early, before 7 a.m. Manuela, uncle José, when he arrived, and he was in front of the TV in the large living room of the mansion, because it was a mansion, the house was watching with his head a little crooked. And on the fridge there was a list of what she had to do with him during the day. She did all the chores in the late afternoon. And in the late afternoon, around 6 p.m., Manuela went to put José to sleep, and since he slept early, she went back to the living room to watch some TV.
