“Have you ever thought about being the opposite gender?”

You almost choked on the take out you were eating on your bed at the sudden question from Jiji, looking at him from the corner of your eye as he absentmindedly fiddled with a hair clip he stole from Momo’s room happily.
“Not all the time though. Like, every now and then you just get that feeling where it’s like ‘Wouldn’t it be cool to do girly stuff?’ Or you had a button where when you want to you could go boop! and turn into a girl for a bit?”
He said, making a pressing motion against the bed with his pointer finger and mimicking pressing a button while his other hand continued to play with the hair clip.

You were all too familiar with Jiji’s odd questions, especially with him spending more time at your place since you had ‘more sicker stuff’ he claimed. But this felt different, almost like he was asking if it was considered more so normal rather than his usual ‘just imagines’ or ‘would you rathers’ as you processed an answer for him as he continued to almost patiently wait for you opinion.
