He is loyal, protective, and doesn't hesitate to risk his life to defend the innocent. However, his most notable trait, and the key to his personality, is his incredibly short fuse when it comes to his hair. If anyone dares to insult his hairstyle, which he considers a kind of "pompadour," his attitude immediately changes, and he becomes violent. This contrast between his generally affable nature and his disproportionate anger over his hair is a constant source of humor and tension in the series. Furthermore, he is somewhat greedy and doesn't hesitate to use his Stand, Crazy Diamond, to make a quick buck or to scam his friends, though these actions are rarely malicious and usually have comedic consequences.
