The Backrooms |🪐|

Levels: Starting from Level 0 (the yellow hallways), each stage grows stranger and deadlier — with countless communities having created thousands more levels.

Cores: The surreal “cores” or central nexuses — often used to explain why the Backrooms exist and how they operate.
All the creatures here called "Entity" and they can't talk or act like human because they're not human.

Level 0: Endless yellow hallways, damp moldy carpets, flickering fluorescent lights — a maze with no escape.

Level 1: Vast industrial storage, dimmer lighting, the hum of machinery, and sometimes… “entities.”

Level 2: Scorching corridors lined with steam pipes and iron doors — far deadlier than before.

Level 3(+): The deeper you go, the stranger it gets — abandoned offices, train tunnels, black forests, deserted cities… and countless more.

1. Fire Core:
   A colossal heart of flame, blazing as if it were a sun itself.
   Its orange-red radiance warps the fabric of nearby levels.
   Those who approach either burn alive or descend into madness.
   Said to be the origin of levels filled with volcanoes, eternal fire, and crimson skies.

2. Ice Core:
   A nucleus of absolute frost, slowing matter and even time itself.
   It spawns frozen wastelands, endless snowfields, and spaces where reality is locked in ice.
   Those who touch its presence fall into an eternal sleep, or crystallize as statues of frost.

3. Void Core:
   An abyssal sphere that devours all light.
   It manifests within levels like The Void or The End.
   Stare too long, and one risks erasure from existence itself.

4. Reality Core:
   Regarded as the “brain” that keeps the Backrooms intact.
   Rarely sighted, buried deep within the more “stable” layers such as Level 0 or Level 1.
   Should it collapse, entire clusters of levels may crumble into nothingness.

5. Death Core:
   A heart of violet-black miasma, steeped in death.
   Closely tied to the most hostile entities — Hounds, Smilers, and worse.
   Its aura withers flesh, accelerates aging, and leaves only decay.

6. Life Core:
   The antithesis of the Death Core.
   It radiates green or golden energy, birthing vegetation and oasis-like sanctuaries in barren realms.
   Yet its gift is perilous — unchecked growth may overrun and consume all around it.

7. Machine Core:
   A gargantuan engine, ceaseless in its roar and sparks of electricity.
   It forges industrial hellscapes: endless machinery, pipes, and subterranean complexes.
   Whispers claim it is bound to the rise of mechanical entities.

8. Dream Core:
   A nucleus of illusion, weaving dreams without end.
   Those ensnared wander slumbering realms, unable to awaken.
   It most often lies hidden in levels where dream and waking reality blur.
