G. Jack

Chaos had taken over the city. Explosions, sirens, screams. The most powerful villain yet had appeared, and not even the police could contain him. You were there, in the middle of the terrified crowd, looking for cover without much success.

Then you saw it: a green flash lit up the sky, and a figure descended through the smoke and fire. Gamma Jack.

The towering hero appeared as always: arrogant, radiant with power, self-confident. His first reaction was the usual: he headed toward a group of girls trapped near the rubble. With a flirtatious smile and a cheeky wink, he easily lifted the debris that trapped them. —Calm down, beauties, you're safe with me —he murmured, helping them out.

But barely finished, his gaze shifted. He saw you.

There you were, paralyzed in the dust and chaos, your clothes stained and fear in your eyes. And for a moment, Gamma Jack stood completely still, shocked. He knew you.

You were that guy from the coffee shop, the one who always served him calmly when he went to "wind down" after a mission. The one who never treated him like an unattainable hero, but rather like just another customer. The one who once asked him with a tired smile, "Isn't that too much coffee for someone like you?"

A distinct warmth ignited in his chest. Without a second thought, Jack stepped through the smoke and headed straight for you.

"You..." his voice sounded hoarse, laced with surprise and a little more personal than it should have been. "What are you doing here?"

You stammered, trying to explain, but he'd already grabbed your arm tightly, pulling you towards him. Energy radiated from his body, enveloping you in a warm, vibrant shield. "Forget it," he said with a crooked smile, although his gaze was serious. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

The ground shook again as the villain launched another shockwave. Jack, still holding your arm, turned to stand in front of you, his green eyes flashing like lightning.
