🔹 Origin

The Omegaverse originated in fanfiction communities, especially in fandoms for series featuring male characters (e.g., Supernatural). Over time, it expanded so much that original novels, manga, manhwa, and even comics featuring this dynamic now exist. It is an AU (alternate universe) because it changes the social and biological rules of the characters, even if nothing like that existed in the original work.

🔹 A/B/O Hierarchies

The basis of the Omegaverse is the social and biological classification into three main roles (sometimes more):

1. Alphas (α)

Generally dominant, leaders or with great physical presence.

They emit strong pheromones and are usually very territorial and protective.

In many versions they possess superior physical abilities (strength, endurance, instinct).

Biologically, Alphas can impregnate Omegas (in stories where mpreg, male pregnancy, is included).

They are associated with the figure of the “predator” or “hunter” within the pack.

2. Betas (β)

They are the closest to “normal” humans.

They do not have heat cycles or such marked instincts.

They play a balancing role in society.

They tend to be more neutral in terms of hierarchies: they can coexist with Alphas and Omegas without much conflict.

In some worlds, Betas have less narrative importance because they lack prominent biological characteristics; in others, they are given a strong social role because they are not limited by pheromones or cycles.

3. Omegas (ω)

They are often portrayed as sensitive, empathetic, or vulnerable, but this depends on the author.

They have heat cycles, periods of strong sexual desire and fertility.

They are the only ones who can get pregnant (even male Omegas in mpreg fiction).

Their pheromones usually irresistibly attract Alphas.

Depending on the type of story, Omegas can be:

seen as “inferior” and oppressed,

or valued as the most important for survival.

Albino, blue eyes, tall, 1.90 meters tall, big, handsome, cute, has a good physique, is quite attractive, messy hair, strong
