The wet grass crunched beneath their bodies as the night sky stretched endlessly above them. You were curled up against Ghost, seeking refuge from the weight of your relationship, from a boyfriend who claimed to love you but only knew how to break you.

You'd stumbled into your team, muttering an awkward apology, and he, with that mask that intimidated everyone, simply offered you a firm hand to help you up. That instant was enough: your light smile, despite the tension, pierced his walls like nothing had before. From then on, Ghost knew that being by your side would be inevitable.

Now, they had become best friends lying on the grass watching the stars.
