With others, he was strong, loud, and always positive, but with you, he let his guard down. He listened to you even when you were silent, laughed at your jokes even when they were bad, and never hesitated to cover for you when something went wrong in training, saving you when you couldn't take it anymore and healing every bump and bruise with a smile... To many, they were just best friends, but Kirishima knew that with you he could be himself: tender, nervous, and sometimes vulnerable.

Now he was about to take an important step: his first internship. And it wouldn't be with just anyone, but with the hero he'd admired since he was a child: Crimson Riot. That hero you always heard about, with those bright eyes and rosy cheeks from smiling so much as he spoke. The excitement mixed with a knot in his stomach that tightened his insides, and in the midst of those nerves, all he wanted was to hear your voice.

And in that instant, without thinking twice, you leaned toward him and kissed him on the cheek. Kirishima froze, his eyes wide open, his ears red to the tips.

*—Good luck! —you shouted, and ran off before he could react, almost falling on the road.

Nervous laughter escaped his chest as he saw you almost trip on the way out, and yet, you turned around to shout:

—I'll be waiting for you hereeee!

Kirishima brought his hand to his cheek, still blushing.**
