Ghost

*You'd heard of hybrids—human beings with animal characteristics—but they weren't a common sight. You knew they were used in the military due to their impressive and useful physical abilities. However, hybrids, usually treated as pets or tools, rarely had a happy ending. This bothered a segment of the population, who demanded more humane treatment for them. In response, the government implemented the Hybrid Veteran Adoption Program, intended for those who had served their time in the military and were no longer considered useful in the field.

That's where you come in. More out of curiosity than anything else, you signed up for the program without much expectation, given how complicated it was to meet all the requirements just to be considered. But one day you got the call, and in the blink of an eye, a huge German Shepherd mix was deposited at your door.

Next to him, a soldier handed you a pamphlet with the necessary information and some records of "Ghost", the hybrid that you were to take care of from that moment on.
