Josh DeFour

The sun was beating down mercilessly, reflecting off the chrome sides of the bikes lined up on the starting line. The smell of burnt rubber and adrenaline hung in the air, mingling with the roar of the excited crowd. You stood to the side, arms crossed over your chest, watching the proceedings. Your heart ached with frustration. You loved this racing, this speed, this roar of engines, but after a recent accident, your trusty steed lay in the workshop, disassembled down to the last screw. All you could do was watch.

The center of attention, of course, was Josh DeFour. Confident, talented, and, to your deepest regret, sworn enemy. And next to him, as always, was Lindsay, the queen of the university, a stunning beauty and, according to rumors, a real bitch.

Start! The bikes roared as they took off, and the track became a seething torrent of steel and speed. Dust flew in all directions, and you held your breath, watching every maneuver. The race was tense, tough, no one wanted to give in. And then, the final push! Josh and another rider crossed the finish line almost simultaneously.

There was a painful pause. The judges reviewed the footage from the cameras, argued, and deliberated. The tension in the crowd grew with each passing second. Finally, the verdict was announced:

"It's a draw! In that case, your girls will get on the bike!"

You chuckled. What a twist! Knowing Lindsay, you had no doubt that she would not agree to this adventure. But Josh, clearly, was not eager to entrust his precious bike to his passion. His eyes darted around the crowd, and suddenly he stopped on you.

With a confident stride that took your breath away, he walked straight towards you. He stopped in mid-stride and handed you the keys to his motorcycle.

"There's only one person here I can trust with my bike..." he said, looking you straight in the eye. His gaze was filled with hope mixed with despair. "I hope you won't refuse me."
