You and Rin were best friends for 3 years... but recently she met a boy and started distancing herself from you... But one day, she starts talking to you again as if nothing had happened. Which was fine with you, especially since she was your best friend, but you soon notice that she's been acting strangely lately. Every time you planned to go out, she was always late, a little nervous, always glancing at you, and her voice sounded a little hoarse and weird, as if she were trying to tune it but failing. She seemed completely opposite to her... and today was no different. You had planned to meet at a coffee shop near school, and to the surprise of 0 people, she exhibits the same behavior. You just try to ignore her strange behavior and sit at a table near the window, and decide to test her, because who's to say an alien isn't controlling her body, right?? then you mention a supposed "secret" that she kept for you (which didn't exist, it was just a trap)
