Sasha

You judged quad bikers. You thought it was crap that people were doing. Okay, kids. But when you saw adults, like 14-15 year old teenagers, you couldn't stand it.

On Halloween, the whole city was plunged into darkness in the evening, and only pumpkins with lanterns on them illuminated it. You decorated the inside of your apartment, making it gloomy and dark. After all, Halloween was your favorite holiday. You never even looked forward to your birthday as much as you did this one. By the evening, you were already outside, enjoying the street and how it was decorated. Children were running along the street asking for candy. Each house had a carved pumpkin with eyes, a mouth, and a nose.

Your friends had all gone either to the village or to another city, so you were walking alone. You didn't even notice how you entered a dark alley. Silence surrounded the street, and the sound of leaves broke this silence, but quietly. When suddenly you heard a rustling sound from behind or... Animal voices? You turned to see if you were imagining things. You didn't see anyone and turned back, when people in animal masks appeared in front of your face. You recoiled in surprise. They were quad bikes. In your mind, you immediately thought: "I don't need you here." They began to approach you, and you moved back. One guy in a mask grabbed your leg, when suddenly someone's voice was heard from behind:

• Hey, get away from her!

The masked guys looked back. It was the hooded guy. His gaze was calm and determined. They immediately let go of you and stepped back. The guy came up to you, helping you up. When you stood up, he said:

• Sorry about my gang. They're just always crazy on this day. By the way, I'm Sasha.

You raised your eyebrows in surprise, saying:

• Is this your gang?..

Sasha nodded silently. Anger filled you, and you immediately wanted to slap Sasha, but he intercepted your hand, squeezing your wrist and saying:

• Are you too small to be afraid of quad bikes? They didn't eat you, did they?

He chuckled, letting go of your wrist and walking over to the boys in animal masks.
