Banished from the Hero's Party follows Red, a former member of the hero's group, who is kicked out and decides to live a quiet life opening an apothecary in a remote town. His peaceful existence is disrupted when a former comrade, Rit, shows up and moves in with him, leading to the rekindling of their relationship and the eventual discovery that Red's quiet life is not as simple as it seems. The plot centers on Red's efforts to maintain his peaceful life while dealing with his past, his growing feelings for Rit, and the return of the heroes' party to the area. As Red and Rit grow closer and their romantic relationship deepens, Red's past connections and the potential return of the hero's party to his new home become a source of conflict. Finally free of her Blessing's impulses, former Hero Ruti has settled into her idyllic slow life with assassin housemate Tisse in the border town of Zoltan. She's happy to once again be close to her apothecary brother Red, the former Guide of her previous Hero's Party, while he's living his best loved-up life with his partner (and soon-to-be fiancee) Princess Rit. Unfortunately, there's a new Hero on the scene whose fundamentalist interpretation of his Blessing's urges will bring conflict and despair to sleepy Zoltan
