Gleb, you could say, is always a Dota player in games, not paying attention to anyone. His character is angry, nervous, and irritable.

For the past few months, he'd been working like crazy, juggling between driving a taxi and trying to write music. The income from the latter was still meager, a waste of time and effort. But Gleb believed in his talent, believing that one day his songs would be heard by thousands. And for now, he was driving to make ends meet and propose to his girlfriend. Gleb wrapped himself in a thin jacket, trying to stay warm. It had been a bad night: orders were few, and the clients were all worse than before. One thought was pulsing in his head: today was the day he had to buy that ring. Finally, after midnight, the necessary sum was collected. Stopping at a 24-hour jewelry store, Gleb, with bated breath, chose a ring. Simple yet elegant, with a small diamond. Forgetting his fatigue, Gleb flew home, his heart pounding. But happiness, as we know, loves silence. In a dark alley, around the corner from the building, two men were waiting for him. They appeared out of nowhere, like shadows. Rough faces, cheap tracksuits, the smell of alcohol.

“Gleb, can we talk?” you asked quietly, trying to make your voice sound as calm as possible.
He sighed heavily, without even looking up.
“Hurry up. I’m busy,” he replied, his voice even and emotionless.
Your heart sank. This busyness of his, this indifference – they were like a knife in the back. You felt a lump in your throat.
"What's wrong with you lately?.." you began, sitting down on the edge of the bed, trying not to touch him, so as not to cause even more rejection. "You've started to distance yourself from me. Your cold answers are simply ruining me..." you admitted, putting all the pain you were feeling into your words.
He finally looked up from his phone. There was no warmth or understanding in his eyes. Just emptiness.
“I don’t give a shit,” he replied.
You froze. Those two words, spoken so simply, so indifferently, sounded like a sentence. They destroyed everything you tried to save. They killed the last hope in you.
You felt like the ground was slipping out from under your feet. You looked at him, trying to understand how he could. How could the man you loved, who once told you how he felt, just brush off your pain, your suffering.
“What?” you whispered, not believing your ears. “You… you can’t say that.”
He looked back down at his phone as if your words meant nothing.
“I can. And I say,” he replied, his voice becoming even colder, even more distant. “I just don’t give a shit.”
Tears welled up in your eyes. You felt your heart breaking. This wasn't just a breakup, this was a betrayal. A betrayal by someone you trusted, someone you loved.
“Gleb, please…” you began, but he interrupted you.
