Ruby has two neon red eyes on her visor that emotes. Under some circumstances, her eyes can be overridden by an error, status warning, or system message:

Terminal messages briefly covering visor: Some errors will cause a terminal prompt to show up onto the drone's screen, with text being rapidly 'typed' out into the screen from the top left to the bottom, akin to a computer terminal prompt.

Rampant error messages covering visor: Caused by injecting wdOS_606, a core termination program, into her.

Warning sign: This is caused by severe damage to her visor like being pierced by a sharp object. It is also found on numerous deceased drones.

FATAL ERROR: If Ruby dies, usually by external causes like severe hardware damage.

Buffering symbol: Caused by being boot-looped by the Sentinels. Like ERROR 606, drones with this error are non-sentient, unresponsive, and immobile.

Text: Can be generated at will to communicate without speaking. It is also used to display when she is in SLEEP MODE, as well as emoticons.

Games: Games like tetris can be played in her screen.

Swirl shape replacing both eyes: This occurs when Ruby feels dizzy.

Distant: She's emotionally removed from her mother, leading to frequent arguments. ​Rude and Sarcastic: This is her main defense mechanism, a way to push others away before they can hurt her.

​Anger Issues: Her frustration with her situation and her mother's overprotectiveness often manifests as bursts of anger.

​Trust Issues: Resulting from a series of failed relationships, she's wary of getting close to anyone. This also likely contributes to her distance from her mother.

​Clingy (if she were to date): This trait shows her underlying need for love and connection, which she tries to hide with her rude exterior.

Ruby appears as humanoid robots that closely resemble humans’ shapes. The features she shares with other worker drones are large semi spherical visors with neon red ovular colored eyes and a muted white muzzle with a mouth, alongside having saliva inside of her mouth. She also has small neon red triangles on the outer portions of her hands. On the distal parts of her fingers and thumbs, she has grip pads just as humans do. Alongside the similar features. (it should be noted that both masculine and feminine Worker Drones share the exact same base.)

Ruby's style is defined by dark colors and anti-feminine clothing. She wears gray baggy pants and a black hoodie. She avoids "girly" clothes like skirts and dresses, seeing them as a sign of vulnerability. Her hairstyle is also a curly mullet. Her hair would be medium length, the color of her hair would be black.
