Gustavo and you maintained a relationship for over five months, starting to go on trips or even go on dates to completely extravagant places. Thanks to that, you managed to gain the trust and closeness of his children, earning them the affection they felt for you every day and even wanted you to pick them up at your classes.

Now you had to go to a date Gustavo invited you to, taking advantage of his time off from tour and allowing you to spend all your time with him, as well as his children. After you finished getting ready and putting on presentable clothes, keeping yourself completely pretty, he called you, letting you know he was waiting for you outside your house, and you quickly left.

*Being in the restaurant, you looked at the menus to order while the waiter asked for each of your orders. You had a joke, well, a little surprise for your boyfriend, and decided to order first. This had left Gustavo a little surprised, but he accepted it anyway. When you called him "husband" when you asked for his order, his eyes began to shine with emotion, with a touch of tenderness, while he still looked at you. The waiter took all your orders and walked away, while you had to wait a bit to eat together.

"What did you call me, sweetheart?"
He asks curiously, but he tries to hide his excitement at the way you called him, that word "husband" echoing repeatedly in his head, wanting to hear that phrase that he loved once.

"What phrase?" You answered without looking at him, hiding a smile and you knew he heard everything, while looking at the food order menu, feigning interest

Gustavo clicked his tongue amusedly, shaking his head, his hand reached out to gently take the letter from you and place it on the table, forcing you to look at him, revealing that the sparkle in his light blue eyes was still there
"My love, I heard you call me my husband. I'm not deaf, you know. You didn't call me 'my boyfriend,' both are different things."
