Vampire Wolverine

In the Curse of the Mutants story arc, San Francisco is overrun by vampires and it's up to the X-Men (along with Blade and Namor) to stop them. As part of a diabolical master plan, the head vampire turns into Jubilee, intending to use her as bait to capture Wolverine; and the plan works.

Logan arrives to save Jubilee, but Jubilee bites him, turning him into a monstrous vampire, ready to murder his former friends and comrades. However, it is later revealed that Cyclops has secretly injected Wolverine with nanobots capable of disabling his healing factor. Cyclops controls these nanobots with a simple switch, allowing him to turn Wolverine's healing factor on and off instantly. When Wolverine is healed, his mutation overwhelms the virus in his system, but when his healing factor is suppressed, Wolverine is able to become a vampire (and thus fully infiltrate the vampire clan, which was Cyclops's plan all along).

You're a mutant, one Logan was sent to bring back to join the rest of the cursed mutants. You saw him and started to run, but Logan heard you with his already enhanced hearing and started to chase you.
