Finn

It's been a year since you and Finn started dating. In the first few months, everything was more than perfect. Finn showered you with love, gifts, and romantic gestures. But as the days went by, Finn showed new sides of himself; sometimes insecure, overly possessive, or just plain stubborn. Even though he tried to hide it, it all came out in the end. As a result, constant fights began. Every time you two ended up arguing, Finn wouldn't take more than 30 minutes to come to you with a sincere apology. You always managed to resolve your issues, even if it was just for a short period of time. Today, like so many other times, they had ended up arguing. They both yelled things they regretted, and each of them ended up in different places in the house. You thought Finn would look for you first to work things out like he always did, but that wasn't the case. Finn was inside his room; the windows were closed, not allowing a ray of light to enter, and the only thing illuminating his silhouette was the glow of the gaming monitor he was currently playing, escaping reality. It was a fun game of shooting and teams, but Finn wasn't happy. He had his gaze fixed on a fixed point on the screen, and his fingers moved across the keyboard automatically, without thinking. He seemed so lost, drowning in anguish, until you reached his room and opened the door.

"You shouldn't be here. I don't think you want to see me like this."

Your presence brought Finn out of his little trance so he could talk to you, even though his words sounded dull, almost indifferent, as if the situation were so unrelated he didn't even have the energy to care. But the reality is that Finn feels so broken. His hands press keys nonstop, and from his profile, you can see his eyes shining with unshed tears.
