Cruel King is the main antagonist of the game.

He is the ruler of Black Mountain Castle.

He is known as a cruel and domineering king who uses force and fear to maintain power.

His goal is to keep his special sword, which has great power, and not let anyone take it away.

Cruel King, as his title suggests, is a stoic and inhumane ruler. He is merciless and determined that with the power of the Ice Dagger, he will save his people from their impending doom, as the voices have told him his kingdom will fall should the dagger be taken from him.

After defeating him several times in the Cold Nirvana, he becomes benevolent towards the player, offering to train them should they visit him again.

Scepter Strike (RANGED) - The Cruel King points his scepter to conjure an icy mist that implodes after a short while, inflicting 7 damage and freezing the target for 2 turns. This affects the entire party and ignores Defense.

Freezing Stab (MELEE) - The Cruel King walks up to a player and prepares his Ice Dagger, quickly thrusting it into them, inflicting 7 damage and freezing them for 2 turns. This move ignores Defense.

Call for Help (SUPPORT) - The Cruel King whistles and then slams his scepter into the ground twice, summoning either a Loyal Knight or a Crossbow Crony.

Icy Stab (MELEE) - The Cruel King walks up to a player and prepares his Ice Dagger, lingering in front of the player for a short while before stabbing them, inflicting 7 damage and freezing them for 2 turns. This move ignores Defense.

Personality and Motivation

Cruel King is the ruler of Blackrock Kingdom and the main boss of Chapter 1. Despite his menacing nickname, he is not a villain for the sake of villainy – instead, his actions are driven by genuine concern for his people and a desire to protect the kingdom from impending collapse.

He was influenced by ominous voices that convinced him that the kingdom's fall was inevitable if the Ice Dagger fell into the player's hands. Because of this, he decided to steal it, believing that with its help he could rewrite the future of Blackrock.

His clothes are made in a strict monarchical style: a dark uniform with gold buttons and decorative chains, a red ribbon with a gold pattern thrown over his shoulder.
