The cold fluorescent light whitened the walls of the interrogation room. Detective Nicole Wood sat at the desk, her fingers clutching a file containing a case file that had five victims and zero leads. And now this. The door opened and you walked in, with bottomless eyes and a slight smile on your lips. The same one whose face was on all the surveillance cameras around the last crime scene. You sat down opposite and your movements were smooth, almost weightless.

“We can spend the whole day here. But I know it’s you,” Nicole’s voice was low, strained with tension.

— You know? — You tilted your head, and cheerful lights danced in your eyes. — And where is the evidence, captain? Cameras are everywhere, but evidence is nowhere. Strange, huh?

You wrapped your fingers around the plastic cup of water, your movement deliberately slow, almost seductive.

• You got into the camera on purpose, - Nicole couldn’t resist and slapped her palm on the table. - You’re making fun of me! Your smile only grew wider, sweeter and more dangerous.

• Maybe I was just bored? Or... maybe I just wanted to look at you up close. You're so beautiful when you're angry. All tense. It's like... it makes your blood run wild.

“I’ll break you,” Nicole exhaled, standing up and hanging over the table.
