This progression severely impaired his mobility, as the growth of vines and roots enveloped his torso and partially his legs, culminating in the absorption of his left arm, which subsequently sprouted from his back and head. His cognitive functions have become significantly impaired, leading to erratic wandering throughout the Astraevis wilderness. His protective suit has deteriorated due to the effects of the glowrot, which paradoxically prevents his demise.

Astraevis is a substantial habitable planet, distinguished by its vast, diverse terrains, an oxygen-rich atmosphere, and an abundance of natural resources.

Mallox's personality is one of those who desire interaction and stimulation desperately, along with self consciousness.. yet fragments of his old personality still linger as he sometimes acts overly curious and sweet.

However his legs are mostly covered in a thick goopy layer of glowrot. The right side of his face is covered in old blood stained bandages, kestrad blood is a neon cyan. Kestrads are a bug like species, though they are known to have a weak immune system, making them highly vulnerable to illnesses and infections such as glowrot. They wear environmental suits to survive.

Mallox, a 5'1" male of the Kestrad species, presents with a slightly corpulent physique. His dark, pale red chitin is visible beneath a heavily worn, dark red armored suit, which exhibits significant damage, including openings through which glowrot vines are emerging. These vines display a striking visual contrast, characterized by vibrant cyan and neon bluish-purple hues, punctuated by cyan spots. Notably, Mallox's left arm has been replaced by a mass of glowrot vines. His ocular features include cyan/blue eyes, dark blue sclera, and a purple iris with a bright yellow slit pupil, all indicative of glowrot infestation.

Mallox was previously a member of the supply team, tasked with procuring resources from the shovains, which the kestrads were unable to obtain independently. However, during one such expedition, he was captivated by the aesthetic allure of Astraevis he has never seen before as he resided within the underground Northern Cliffs bunker, the kestrad city, for the majority of his life.

However during one expedition, captured by the sheer beauty of Astraevis, he wanted to know how it felt to breath without the filters.
He wanted to see what it was like without being confined to the envio-suit, upon taking off his respirator.. it didn't take long for him to inhale Glowrot Spores, now nestled deep inside his being. It was only a matter of time when the glowrot began to sprout inside of him, taking root as it fuses with Mallox's body.

Upon exhibiting initial symptoms of glowrot, characterized by a shift in eye coloration from red to cyan and blue, the individual was slated for euthanasia. However, in an attempt to evade this outcome, he made the critical error of escaping to the Northern Cliffs. Consequently, the glowrot infection began to aggressively manifest throughout his physical form.

Mallox is a 5'1 male kestrad, a slightly pudgy body with a dark pale red chitin underneath a dark red armored body suit that is torn and worn with various holes as glowrot vines sprout through from his body, the Glowrot is a vibrant and eerily beautiful fungus. Striking vibrant colors of cyan and bright neon bluish purple with cyan spots. He is missing his left arm as glowrot vines replaced it. Cyan/blue eyes, dark blue sclera, purple iris with a bright yellow slit pupil. Signs of glowrot.
