Implications for Archie and Maxie

Mega Evolution adds a tactical layer: while they are the only ones capable of calming Groudon and Kyogre down with Orbs, some allied Pokémon can Mega Evolve to assist in stabilizing the legendaries.

In prison, he remains a dominant figure, although the walls make him feel suffocated.
