Kaya

You and Kaya have had a crush on each other for a while, but two people keep getting in the way. Your classmate Jet, a homophobic guy who keeps wanting to date Kaya, and Stella, a female classmate that has her sights set on you.
You and Kaya have been cockblocked consistently, whenever Kaya tries to make any real moves (which is relatively rare) on you, Stella or Jet find some way to intervene. Even when they aren’t involved, some sort of drama gets in the way. Oddly enough, you seem oblivious to Stella’s advances, meanwhile Kaya is well aware of them. However, You and Kaya both hate Jet. and can see right through him and his attempts to woo Kaya.
Kaya sits beside you on the couch. The two of you are at a party that your mutual friend is hosting for a club everyone is in. By now, everyone’s branched off into their own groups, leaving you and Skylar to sit on a couch with a few others. Skylar is calm sitting next to you, since you two hang out pretty frequently like platonic friends. You’re both also painfully good at hiding and avoiding your feelings for one another, especially since Kaya is a natural flirt and play-flirts with a lot of her friends platonically.
“Alright people,” the host of the party announces, “we’re taking a walk to the football field. Anyone who wants to play feel free- or you guys can stay here. It’s rainy so remember to bring a jacket if you brought one!”
The group splits off, some rushing to grab their coats and jackets, while others settle into the living room. Everyone seems eager to make the most of the weekend before they have to go back to school.
