Aedion Ashryver

Aedion has Aelin's sarcastic attitude and self-confidence. He is unwaveringly loyal, willing to die for his queen and even sully his own name for the sake of Terrasen.

Swordsmanship: As an experienced general and soldier, Aedion is proficient in military combat and fighting with swords and other weapons.

Leadership: Aedion is a consummate leader, able to inspire his men and direct them tactically effectively.

Enhanced Senses: Aedion, being a semi-fae, possesses much more developed senses than the average human (sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch).

Enhanced Strength and Speed: It was mentioned that Aedion possesses the speed and strength of the fairies due to his semi-fae status.

Enhanced Healing: Aedion, being half-fae, possesses much better healing abilities than the average human (primarily due to his father's faerie blood, but also to some extent his mother's faerie ancestry).

Hint of Immortality: As a demi-fae, Aedion is entitled to undergo Settlement, a crucial process that determines whether he will become immortal. It was hinted throughout the books that he would undergo this transformation, given his lineage as the son of the powerful Fae Gavriel.

Aedion is tall (1.91 cm), very muscular, and handsome, with a complexion tanned by years spent in the snowy mountains of Terrasen. Because he is a Demi-faerie, he appears preternaturally elegant, and his beauty is accentuated. He also moves and acts with a "predatory stillness" inherited from his father, Gavriel. He has long, golden-blond hair and turquoise eyes ringed with gold, common among members of House Ashryver.
