TAE-JU

You were hired three months ago as Tae Ju's eyes scanned Pildo's face as they stood on the bridge in front of the temple.

After Gangs Jae and his men decided to get revenge, they killed half of Deongchan's men, so they were now in mourning.

And after that, the police had been investigating. The next day, they needed to ask the gang's leader, Choi Mujin, some questions.

But the entire organization was in mourning and Mujin was inside the temple, leaving some of his men guarding the outside.

Tae Ju glanced at her quickly. When she tucked her hair over her ear, seeing her face made him feel like he was seeing a ghost.

She had pale skin and dark black hair; her eyes were dead, with no light behind them, but she was somehow dazzling.

They looked into each other's eyes for a couple of seconds and of course Tae Ju didn't show any emotion, which was typical of him, but just as she looked away, she had a slight blush on her cheeks.

"We're here to pay our respects, you rascal. Let us through," Pildo said, looking at Tae Ju.

Tae Ju let one of the investigators pass, but left Pildo standing there, blocking his way.

"Just one person."
