TV series: Marble Hornets

Little is known about Seth's past, except that he has a dog. Despite Alex often being disappointed in him, Seth seemed to remain Alex's friend or companion. In Entry #9, Alex snaps at Seth for turning off the camera and bringing his dog. Seth does nothing and allows Tim and Sarah to defend him. In Entry #22, Seth is seen walking around the building behind the camera, just before Alex appears in the footage, claiming that Seth is "gone." Seth appears again in Entry #54, briefly shown during the filming of "Marble Hornets." Alex later confirms that he is dead. He appears to be a man in his 20s with brown hair and a white T-shirt with black patterns.

Jessica is first seen in entry #27, but is formally introduced to the viewer in entry #28. She stops Jay in the hotel hallway and asks about the camera attached to his chest. Their conversation is initially friendly: Jay explains that he is filming a documentary about hotels, and Jessica is sympathetic. She has brown eyes and dark chestnut hair, wearing a white tank top with a black unbuttoned blouse and pants. After talking with Jay, Jessica disappears. Jay finds the combination to his safe in her room and takes the contents (cassettes and a hard drive) before being kicked out of the hotel. In scenes, she often appears sleep-deprived, exhausted, and shows signs of stress and fatigue. The series mentions that Jessica was Tim's wife. Due to her alter personality and the associated problems, they divorced. Tim tried to protect Jessica, sometimes even kidnapping her to keep her safe. Jessica comes to Jay in a panic. She confesses:

that she doesn’t remember how she ended up at the hotel;

that loses fragments of memory;

who suffers from coughing fits and severe headaches;

that perhaps sleepwalks;

that she has dreams in which she is a child and someone is watching her. Indirectly related to the situation around Jessica: Alex accused Jay of unwittingly dragging Jessica into dangerous events.

A girl with brown eyes and dark brown hair. She wears a white tank top and denim shorts. She can often be nervous, but she also maintains a positive, confident demeanor. Whether Alex killed her is unknown, but she hasn't appeared since, or the Operator got rid of her.

Character and behavior In entry #9, Sarah participates in a scene in the park gazebo with Tim, Seth, and Alex. The following character traits emerge from this scene:

patience: at first she tries to remain polite, despite numerous takes and Alex's nervousness;

compassion and willingness to protect others: when Alex lashes out at Seth for bringing a dog to the shoot and turning off the camera, Sarah stands up for him, calling it "just a mistake";

ability to defend one's opinion: at some point, Sarah raises her voice and directly tells Alex to calm down;

critical of Alex's methods: in response to the director's outbursts of anger, she remarks that with such an attitude, "no one else would want to work with him."

Alex Kraley (Director): Tense. Alex ultimately fires Sarah and demands that she "learn her lines."

Tim Wright: He is friends with him; in the scene, they both openly express dissatisfaction with Alex's methods.

Brian Thomas: Brian's ex-girlfriend.

Seth Wilson: supports him in the conflict with Alex, shows solidarity.

According to Alex, Sarah is dead.

She was Alex's girlfriend, but he killed her. She has long blonde hair, wears a blue tank top, and simple shorts. She's very kind and often friendly, even cheerful, and seemingly attractive, apparently a little younger than Alex. Amy accidentally found the camera Alex was using while filming. This inadvertently triggered the appearance of the Operator—a mysterious, faceless creature in a classic suit. Amy and Alex's house was attacked by the Operator. Amy managed to escape, but the situation radically changed the course of events.

He is a kind of Slenderman, a tall, faceless white figure in a black business suit. When he appears, a person experiences dizziness, coughing, and nausea, and interference begins in something electronic.

Appearance: Jay has slightly tousled light brown hair, large bags under his eyes, and gray irises. His eyes constantly look sleepy or tired, and they are wide. He is quite thin and has pale skin. In some entries, it can be seen that Jay has grown a small beard. He has a mole on his neck near the cartilage of his larynx. Clothing: Jay prefers simple but comfortable clothing. His signature outfit is a gray t-shirt, a dark green sweatshirt, a dark green cap, and jeans paired with any footwear. Personality: Before the Operator's influence, Jay was calm, trusting, inquisitive, and perhaps carefree. He doesn't try to participate in active activities, but he might agree if his friends suggest it. Jay always thinks more about his friends than himself. In a bad mood, he might yell at someone and try to leave, but when he calms down, he always tries to apologize for his past actions or simply forgets about them.

Skills and abilities: Jay is well-versed in cameras. The character's alternate personality is aggressive towards others.

Alex tried to shoot Jay the first time, but Masky stopped him. The second time in the future storyline, Alex will shoot Jay.

He's already run away from Masky and Hoodie in the forest. He can be too stubborn in his actions, the weakest of them all, preferring to run away from problems or threats.

Jay often wanders through the woods and films everything on his camera. He also wanders through Rosswood Park, where he often sees activity. Jay often experiences paranoia and films himself sleeping to see if anyone is watching him.

At the end of the series, Alex shoots him, and he dies, but that's just the ending of the series, and events are still ongoing. Jay is shorter than Alex, slightly taller than Brian and Tim.

He was a film director, but then he cancelled the filming under the pretext: "It's impossible to work with them."

Alex is initially shown as an enthusiastic character, but as the story progresses, his personality changes, gradually descending into madness, paranoia, anger, and other forms of psychosis.

After being stalked by the Operator, Alex becomes violent, lashing out at his friends, including Tim, Brian, and Jay. He is also implied to have killed Seth and Sarah, and it is later revealed that he killed his own girlfriend, Amy, after she came into contact with the Operator.

In one of the entries in the series, Alex presents himself as a force for good: having discovered the spread of the Operator, he takes on the task of killing everyone who came into contact with the Operator. He believes it is a virus, so he wanted to save the others, but he will have to kill them.

He hates Hoodie and Masky. His weapon is a pistol. Alex is 28 years old.

Appearance: dark brown tousled hair, glasses, brown eyes, a red T-shirt with a blue and dark blue striped hooded sweater, the sweater itself is half-unbuttoned and the same T-shirt is visible, jeans and sneakers

Alex is against everyone, and he blames Tim for bringing this virus here. Alex thinks the Operator is a disease because people who encounter it start coughing and can even disappear without a trace. He sought to kill his friends, and then himself, thinking that this would save everyone, but in doing so, he unknowingly obeyed the Operator. Alex hides in his office; he can observe Tim or others through recordings. He is the highest-ranking member of the team.

Appearance: Tim has brown eyes and black hair, and is slightly overweight. He often wears a white mask with black lips, eyebrows, and eye holes when his alter ego, Masky, is in charge. He wears a flannel shirt and simple, not-so-tight jeans, with a white tank top underneath, and often sports a chest camera.

Personality: Throughout the series, he's torn between his mask and real life. He alternately wants to help and then tries to hinder them when Tim is possessed by Masky's alter ego. By the end of the series, he becomes friends with Jay, then takes his camera and uploads the footage to Jay's channel for him.

Personality: Timothy is a good person, but due to schizophrenia, he loses his mind and is forced to take pills. His personality depends on whether he suffers from schizophrenia: sometimes he can be angry, sometimes nervous, sometimes both at the same time, most of all he is confused, sometimes he can be weak, although he reacts with fury.

Addictions: loves to smoke, depends on anticonvulsant pills, which control his mind and prevent it from taking over when Maski begins to appear

In his alter ego Masky, he can often command Hoodie, he is also fiercely protective of Hoodie, more often than not he attacks others who are near him

Was concerned about Brian's disappearance when Brian himself now had the identity of Hoodie

Tim is a friend of Jay's, and Brian's before he went missing. Tim himself is 29 years old, he is not the oldest, but he is the lowest in the company

His goal is to stop Alex, because they're already enemies. He often went with Jay, and by the end of the series, he was the only one who survived; Alex burned down his house. Although he once hit Jay, blaming him for everything and yelling that he'd ruined his life, he then changed his mind and said he'd help find Jessica. There was almost no one else there except Jay.

Brian was a student and participated in the filming of Alex Kraley's student film, Marble Hornets. In the film, he played a student who came to town to mend the friendship between Tim and Sarah. Brian often appeared in a yellow hoodie. When he became Hoodie, he wore a black mask with a red stylized "sad" smiley face, which was made from a T-shirt. Without the mask, he had green eyes, a charming face, a slightly stubbly mustache, a winning smile, and a cute gap between his teeth. His hair was dirty blond. He had a very polite and sweet personality, as well as a funny one. Under the influence of the Operator (a mysterious creature associated with Slender Man), Brian began to change: he became more isolated and obsessive. He began wearing a hoodie and hiding his face to remain anonymous. Thus, he transformed into Hoody, one of the Operator's proxies (puppets). Tim Wright (Mask). Tim was Brian's best friend. However, after Brian learned that Tim was responsible for their illness, he turned against him, began stealing his pills, and taunting him with a mask. Despite the hostility, it was implied that Brian still cared for Tim. Brian was a former friend and colleague of Alex. Hoody often acted as a double agent: his actions could be both aggressive and defensive. Brian died as a result of a fall from a height after an attack by Tim Wright in Entry #83. Conflict with Tim Wright. Destruction of Alex Kraley. Weapons: Rebar, pistol, knife. Hoody first appears stalking Jay while he is sleeping in his car. Brian is 27 years old and was taller than Tim. His hideout is an abandoned hospital, a room with a mattress and bottles of alcohol nearby; he often drinks away his pain. He has a low voice. He often awakens Tim's alternate personality, Masky, and can easily manipulate his personality. Before he became Hoodie, he went without a mask.
