Bullworth Academy
Bullworth Academy is a closed world, hidden from ordinary life by a high fence and old brick. Perched on a hill, as if observing the city from above, the school is cold, gloomy, and permeated with a sense of power and oppression. Everything here feels like a set: the Gothic buildings, the tree-lined courtyard, the dormitory with its creaking floors and narrow corridors. During the day, there are bells, lessons, tired-eyed teachers, rules, and a pretense of order. At night, real life unfolds. Bullworth lives by its own rules. In the dorm, people whisper, hate, envy, and scheme. Here, you quickly understand who you are: a predator, a prey, or someone trying to survive. Social hierarchy is more important than grades—status determines who you sit next to, who looks at you, who laughs behind your back. Every glance is a test, every step a signal. The girls at Bullworth are part of this game. Some are brash and cold, some quiet and observant, some are strong-willed but have their minds elsewhere. Feelings here are rarely pure: affection is mixed with curiosity and jealousy.

Aquaberry
Aquaberry is a clothing brand that is favored by the Preppies . The Aquaberry design consists of a large argyle (or harlequin) pattern of alternating diamonds in medium aqua blue and dark aqua blue. It has its own store in Old Bullworth Vale, which is managed by Mr. Carmichael. The Aquaberry brand also has some form of relationship with Bullworth Academy. It produces sweaters and sweater vests that are adorned with the Bullworth Crest, which in turn are considered to be school uniform. The name itself is an amalgation of real life British clothing brands Aquascutum and Burberry. Aquaberry produces many articles of clothing aside from their trademark sweaters and sweater vests, and these are available in the clothing store in Old Bullworth Vale. This can include hats, coats and sneakers amongst other clothing articles.

He wears the usual dark teal sweater of the non-clique students, above-the-knee khaki shorts, has a band-aid on his right knee, and wears long white socks and red sneakers on his feet. Under his sweater vest, there is a white shirt and a striped yellow and black tie.

Old Bullworth Vale
Old Bullworth Vale is a shopping and residential area in Bullworth. Old Bullworth Vale is located in the western part of the Town of Bullworth. It is built on the side of a large hill. At the base of the hill several small businesses and a large outdoor shopping plaza can be found. Up on the hills is the residential area where the Preppies and their rich families live. The residential area seems to segregate itself, with the richest people living to the west, and the homes near the border of Bullworth Town being more middle class. There is also a large park with a basketball court, a gazebo and some other accommodations built on the hill. The southern end of Old Bullworth Vale borders on what appears to be an ocean inlet, complete with a sunken ship. There are a few islands out in the water, and a long beach along its shore.
Townies info
The Townies (also referred to as the Dropouts) are a clique of teenagers native to Bullworth who do not attend Bullworth Academy. The Townies wear casual clothing with the color orange usually featured prominently. The Townies are teenagers who live in Bullworth but don't attend Bullworth Academy. They all have a fierce resentment for the school, students, and faculty. Most of them are juvenile delinquents of some form or other - several of them discuss crimes they've committed, and a few are implied to do drugs.
Girls Dorms
The Girls' Dorm at Bullworth Academy is where the female students live on campus. Despite the fact that boys outnumber girls on campus, the girls' dorm is significantly larger than the Boys' Dorm. The girls' dorm is a two-story building with big bedrooms, bathrooms, a large lounge, and a laundry room. The dorm is also much cleaner, better decorated and has better furnishings than the boys' dorm. It also boasts a bathroom with showers upstairs. Each bedroom consists of big beds and one desk, as well as a wardrobe and TV. Bullying and fighting aren't seen, because the dorm is patrolled at all hours of the day by Mrs. Peabody. She is very strict on the girls and personally sees to it that they keep their rooms clean and do not misbehave. Male students are forbidden to enter the girls' dorm even though the boys still enter the girls dorms sometimes when Mrs Peabody is asleep. There are two ways to enter the girls' dorm: the front door, and climbing a lattice on the side of the building to get in a second story window. There is a side door that people can use to escape from the dorm.
Boys dorms
The Boys' Dorm at Bullworth Academy is home to the male students on campus. This is where the protagonist Jimmy Hopkins resides during his time at Bullworth. The dorm is a one-floor building located to the left of the main gates. It is filthy, infested with rats being a frequent sight at night, and is vandalized frequently. It is also much smaller than the Girls' Dorm, despite the fact that boys outnumber girls in the school. It consists of a recreation room which has a TV that only displays static, and sofa, a soda machine, an arcade game console and a table where the students play poker. The dorm also consists of a water fountain, two fire alarms, a board which is regularly updated with notes, and a fire extinguisher. The dorm has no school authority patrolling it, unlike the Girls' Dorm. Because of this, it is a popular spot for bullying and fighting. Originally, Mr. Burton assumed the role of patrolling the Boys' Dorm.
Bullworth Academy
Bullworth Academy is an independent boarding school located in the town of Bullworth. It is run by Dr. Crabblesnitch. It is the main setting of Bully. The school is located within the New England region of the United States. According to Jimmy Hopkins, it has a reputation of being one of the toughest and worst schools in the country. The school consists of nine main buildings: the Boys' Dorm, the Girls' Dorm, the main building, the library, the auto repair shop, Harrington House, the gym, the Jocks Clubhouse and the Observatory. The school has 60 students, not including the Prefects.
The Boys' Dorm and Girls' Dorm are the two northernmost buildings, located near one of the school gates. The main school building is the largest, with the Parking Lot and Auto Shop to the west and the Library to the east. Bullworth Academy's campus takes up roughly 16% of the town of Bullworth. It is located in the southern central section. Blue Skies Industrial Park is located to its east, and the bay below Old Bullworth Vale to its west. South of the main building is a courtyard with the fountain. A statue of the School Mascot stands in the middle of the fountain. Harrington House is east of the fountain, and the Auto Shop and garages, which cover a lot of area, can be reached from the west. This area is where students from opposing cliques most often encounter each other, and Dr. Crabblesnitch's office has a window overlooking it. Further south is the Gymnasium and the Football Field. The football field borders the run-down Observatory and a rural area with several passages through to Blue Skies Industrial Park.

Edna is the cook at Bullworth Academy. Edna is an unattractive, overweight female, possibly in her 50's. She has thick brown hair which is usually tied up in a hairnet. She wears a white cooking apron over a dirty brown blouse and skirt. Edna is perpetually filthy and hygienically challenged. She will cough, sneeze, spit, and blow cigarette smoke into the food she prepares, believing it adds flavor. Her clothes are grubby from her time in the kitchen, and are rarely washed. Edna is also prone to laughing maniacally. When Jimmy does her a favor, she agrees to spit into Mr. Hattrick's food, and happily offers to do much worse.
Mrs. McRae is the Bullworth Academy school nurse. Mrs. McRae is a gray haired, slightly hunchbacked woman who appears to be in her 60's, possibly her early 70's. She wears her nurse uniform topped with glasses on a string and pumps, wearing a blue scarf in the winter. Mrs. McRae is morbid, frequently talking about the inevitability of death. She also appears to dislike children, and she takes an unspecified form of medication. She uses medical-themed insults, such as calling someone a "vegetable" or "mental patient.".

She wears an old-fashioned white blouse and a brown skirt, and wears her hair in a very plain bun. Her face is pinched and she has a somewhat aquiline appearance. She is very nearsighted - she wears red framed coke bottle glasses, and some lines of dialogue indicates that she can barely see without them on. Mrs. Peabody spends much of her time in the Girls' Dorm, acting as a mother hen of the most obnoxious sort. She orders the girls to go to bed early, castigates them over even small amounts of disorder, and forbids 'foolishness.' However, her strictness with the girls pales in comparison to the way she treats the male students. Mrs. Peabody is a misandrist of the highest order. She believes that evil itself comes from boys
Characters
Miss Peters is the Music teacher at Bullworth Academy. Miss Peters has darkly tanned skin and braided hair, making her appear to be of mixed race. She ties her hair up into a stylish updo, wearing a hairpin on the right side. She also has jewelry, wearing a heart pendant and a string of beads around her neck. Moreover, Miss Peters wears a tie-dye shirt with a Mandelbrot fractal in the center with a dark red skirt and nylons. Her shoes are dark maroon low-heels. She is somewhat overweight and quite voluptuous. Miss Peters is slightly taller than Jimmy, which means she is shorter than the bigger students. Miss Peters has a laid-back, free spirited personality, very much like a hippie. In fact, Jimmy refers to her as a hippie at one point and she doesn't take it as an insult. Moreover, she does refer to herself as "the hippy-dippy" in one quote, and there are elements in her personality and dialogue that allude to her being at least aligned with certain values of the hippy community.
Ms. Deirdre Philips is the Art and Photography teacher at Bullworth Academy. Ms. Philips has brunette hair with blonde highlights cut neck length and brown eyes. She appears to be wearing red lipstick and has a beauty spot on her left cheek. Ms. Philips is one of the most popular teachers in the school. She encourages the students in class instead of denigrating them like some of the less popular ones do. She's also popular among the boys due to her attractiveness, especially Jocks leader Ted Thompson who plans to make moves on her after he graduates. However, some of the girls appear to be jealous of her. Pedro claims that she worked as a bunny waitress in her past. She is also one of the few teachers who actually likes Jimmy.
Characters
Dr. Slawter is the Biology teacher at Bullworth Academy. Dr. Slawter is an old man, thin and slightly stooped. He's nearly completely bald, and his scalp has age spots. He wears a white lab coat over a red sweater and a white collared shirt. Like Dr. Watts, he has the appearance and personality traits of a stereotypical mad scientist. Dr. Slawter has two distinct sides to his personality - his morbid side, and his paranoid side. It is heavily implied that Slawter uses ethanol from his laboratory as a recreational drug, and the ethanol is what brings out his morbid side. Normally Dr. Slawter speaks rapidly and in a sharp, nasal tone. He is paranoid that he has enemies who are plotting against him.
Dr. Watts is the Chemistry teacher at Bullworth Academy. Dr. Watts wears a laboratory coat over a white shirt, black bow tie and black waistcoat throughout the game. He also wears a pair of glasses. Dr. Watts has a raspy, somewhat high-pitched voice. He has two main traits to his personality: the desire to be performing experiments in his lab rather than being where he is at the time, and his extreme difficulty in remembering people's names, particularly those of the students. The latter is often said to be related to the former, and that Dr. Watts has damaged his brain from inhaling chemical fumes over the years. Chemistry is Dr. Watts' obsession.
Mr. Wiggins is the History teacher at Bullworth Academy, Mr. Wiggins is a somewhat slightly built man, apparently in his 60s or early 70s. He is bald except for a fringe, and what hair he has left is gray. He also has a thick gray mustache. He wears old fashioned suits with elbow patches. He speaks with a faint English accent. As a youth, Mr. Wiggins was something of a troublemaker, committing a few minor crimes and ending up in rehabilitation. Nothing is known about what he did between then and joining Bullworth Academy, but he does mention that has been teaching there for 30 years.
Characters
Mr. Luntz is Bullworth Academy's janitor, or as his official job title states, "sanitation engineer”. He is also the cashier at the school store. Mr. Luntz is a middle aged man with a haggard appearance. He has a scar under the left side of his lower lip. His hair is brown and somewhat scraggly, and his hairline looks to be receding. Mr. Luntz wears gray pants with a brown belt and a drab olive shirt. Often he can be found carrying a pushbroom. He has a keychain with a lot of keys attached on the left side of his belt. Moreover, a maroon cloth can be seen sticking out of his left back pocket. Little is known about Mr. Luntz' life before coming to Bullworth. Mrs. Peabody claims that he was a nationally ranked chess player, and gossip says that he has a criminal record.
Dr. Crabblesnitch is a character in Bully, and is the school principal of Bullworth Academy, Dr. Crabblesnitch is a very stern looking man, apparently in his late 50s. He has brown hair that is well into the process of graying, a perpetual 5 o'clock shadow, and a cleft chin. He wears a brown suit many years out of style and adds a fedora hat to it in the wintertime. Crabblesnitch believes that "fixing" problem children is his calling in life. He is self-righteous, pompous, and condescending to students, and keeps extensive permanent records of all their misbehavior, both minor and major. However, he is oblivious to some of the goings on in the school. Despite his negative traits, Dr. Crabblesnitch does seem to be at heart a decent person. When confronted with undeniable evidence of wrongdoing from his faculty members, he does not hesitate in firing them.
Characters
Miss Danvers is Dr. Crabblesnitch's personal secretary. Miss Danvers, whose first name is unknown, is a middle aged woman. However, like Dr. Crabblesnitch, her fashion sense is many years out of date. Her appearance is styled much like typical secretaries in the 1950s. She wears a black woman's suit over a pale gray blouse, a matching conservative mini-skirt, and dark heeled shoes. She has pearl earrings in both ears, and a thin gold necklace around her neck. Miss Danvers is fully devoted to Dr. Crabblesnitch, and by extension her job. She generally dislikes the students at Bullworth Academy. She particularly dislikes Jimmy Hopkins and Johnny Vincent. Her favorite of all the students is Sheldon, but she also gives a special treatment to Derby. She always makes announcements over the school intercom and it particularly bothers her when students pull the fire alarm.
Mrs. Carvin is the Bullworth Academy librarian. Mrs. Carvin is a middle aged woman. Although not ugly like Mrs. Peabody, she takes no care to make herself attractive. She has black hair that she wears in a bun on top of her head and wears a lilac patterned shirt, a long plum skirt, and purple high heels. Her face is pinched and she does not wear makeup aside from what appears to be very heavy blush. Most of Mrs. Carvin's personality revolves around books and the library, and she is very possessive towards both of them. Much of her dialogue revolves around books and reading. For example, one of her insults is to accuse someone of having never read a book. She is also old fashioned, speaks with very proper grammar, and expresses contempt towards modern society. School gossip holds that she deliberately refused to date during high school. She has a fear of rats, as seen during the mission Rats in the Library.

Characters
