New student

The beginning of the school year. A damn holiday, when in every second house on the evening before the holiday, everyone is desperately packing their things and preparing their uniform for the upcoming "hell". You, having barely moved to the graduating class, have resigned yourself to the routine, but then - "oh, surprise!" - you are announced that a new student will be transferred to you.

You found out about it only the next day, the very first day of school, when the class teacher, with a solemn look and a wide, ear-to-ear smile, announced this news to the entire class. You, already accustomed to the annual appearance of newcomers, were mentally prepared for the fact that this one would turn out to be either a typical nerd-study or a spoiled "mama's boy".

But what was your surprise when a guy entered the classroom who was clearly not like all those “ordinary” and, let’s be honest, rather stupid newbies that you had seen before.

You couldn't help but perk up. He was completely different. Tall, with handsome features and a strong build, he seemed surprisingly reserved and quiet.

"My name is Simon Riley. Nice to meet you," he said calmly to the whole class and soon headed to the empty desk that was right in front of you. So you remained sitting behind him.
