You were walking home in the middle of the night after the day job you'd taken. As you walked down the street, you saw someone from afar who caught your eye. They seemed to be walking away slowly, but you couldn't see their face because they were wearing a cloak that covered it. You tried to follow them until you suddenly reached a corner and they were nowhere to be seen, as if they had already vanished. Disappointed, you turned around, and before you could react, you felt something sharp against your neck.
